I love NXE, now I can actually see my backgrounds, and the new home button guide is easier to manage, not to mention it opens faster. The new party chat is awesome as well, they should have included that from the very beginning.

I like the HDD-installation-feature. Finally that dvd-drive shuts the hell up. Even though you can only install one game on the standart hdd...

The original Castle Crashers' theme or the new one? I decided to test my luck and purchase it and I have to say, it looks really nice. I love the friends section with the little pets floating around on certain people.

Im not black, but i dont want my avatar to look like everyone elses. I was kind of hoping to make that generic Black martial arts dude from old martial arts movies, but they dont have the clothes to make it, so i just gave him a suit instead.


I wish they had Cone hats.

man it's been the same way for me, but just for games I haven't installed. With Fable 2, it crashed within the first 5 minutes 3 consecutive times before I installed it. It's also frozen on Mass Effect, NFL head coach, and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. I'm running out of space :(

i dont remember what i was doing but it was one of the loading screens with the citadel, it just kept loading. Same with Head coach, it got stuck on a loading screen.

Has anybody played any of the community games?

I tried the demos for Carneyvale and Weapon of Choice. Both are surprisingly well done and fun, but nothing particularly special.

How much do they charge for the community games? You should just be able to play em for free if you pay for a gold account. :\

They cost as much as arcade games, but yeah, they should be free or at least no more than 160 points (which is how much a 30 minute TV show runs).

So, overall, does everybody find it too buggy? I think it's great now that I'm used to it. Haven't had any problems with it or my Xbox itself (knock on wood) so far since launch, so I'm either in the clear or I'm due. I like NXE, though, it's easy to use and on the eyes.

I don't think it really adds anything. It takes a lot longer to log in with all the new crap, and in general, it seems like everything is taking a lot longer on the dashboard. And for what? An Xbox version of the Miis?

Well, it also added on easier to use news, updates, streaming, the marketplace was modified a little, and the party system is definitely welcome.

The blades were easy enough, Instead of adding mii's and shit, they should be adding more to what you can do with it. Like adding more compatibility with video files and that sort of thing. Unless they bring out some new amazing use for the Avatars besides sitting on the screen and being useless im going to say that it was completely fucking pointless to be forced to update to it.

It lets you save whole games to your HDD. It cuts way down on loading times, framerate issues and most importantly doesn't spin the disc so it's FUCKING QUIET.

which is fine if you don't mind using up 16 gigs for The Last Remnant, of course!

You need the disc. I'm sure there's a way to burn the necessary file onto a special disk, though....

It is terrible mainly because when someone sends you an invite to a game nothing pops up anymore to notify you of this.

No, I've been getting invites a lot. Maybe it's just you. Maybe it's just me that's getting them.

Also, I love parties. Being able to chat through something else not the game makes it easier to talk when on different teams.

Only thing that sucks about parties s you need Gold to use it, which I just ran out of.
