*potential spoilers below*
So I just saw this movie and have one simple question:
They knew the plants were trying to kill them, so why didn't they just set said plants on fire? Seems like they had more than enough fire to get the job done.

I could've sworn that I'd replied.
I liked the movie, but I was wondering the same thing myself, so I went onto the imdb boards to see if anyone heard anything from the director, writer, or the author of the book that it was based on; I remember that there was indeed some kind of reasoning for it, but I can't remember what it was.
True story.

Maybe it would be better if the plants were talking venus flytraps with the voice of Mother Brain from Captain N who broke into songs about how cool it is to eat people and starred Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, and Dan Akyroyd:lol2

o ya the same question about the happening
the plants were killing people, which honestly didnt make sense and that movie is horrible so dont watching, so why didnt they just burn down all the plants in the general area and then hide instead of just running? especially when they knew it was the plants they still shouldve just gone back to new york or sumthin like that.
