Is it me, or did at some point in the past 50 years we all decided we want to live forever one way or another? Are we really that afraid of dying?

The larger message here is that if you don't want to spend years in a vegetative state, make sure you leave hard, indisputable proof that you want the doctor to pull the plug/tube.

Kind of interesting that the only reason she was able to die is because she couldn't survive without the feeding tube ;\
