I need a new Wii game. What would you say are the top 3 games out on the Wii? I myself only own Da Blob and Sam & Max so I feel I cant really give a good opinion.

Anything involving horses/pets and the training thereof.

Nintendogs! Or was that for the DS? Either way, I love digital pets!

At the moment I can think of RE4 and Smash Bros. Brawl

MadWorld comes out soon. Also, WiiWare has some nice gems. World of Goo was probably my favorite downloadable game last year.

Ugh. I know beat 'em ups tend to be repetitive, but that got seriously mind-numbing after awhile. If it wasn't for the LOLQUIRKY plot, I wouldn't have finished it.
I'm not saying you're not allowed to like it (you're certainly entitled to your own opinion), but whenever someone gives it such high praise, I feel obligated to knock it down a peg. There's just too many issues bogging it down.
I sincerely hope the sequel can fix the some of problems the first game had. It had so much potential :(

No More Heroes and Mario Strikers Charged are the only things you should pay cash money for.
Madworld is coming out soon, that'll probably be sweet!
I sort of like Super Paper Mario.
If you don't have it on another system Guilty Gear Accent Core is probably worth looking into.
Megaman 9 is fantastic and Art Style Orbient is pretty interesting, but I haven't played any other downloadables that aren't Virtual Console titles.
You probably wouldn't go wrong with a little Homebrew action, either.

Geometry Wars: Galaxies is extremely awesome (and it's now pretty cheap to buy as well).
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is another great one, though extremely hard in parts (like all Metroid games).
Also, don't forget that the new Punch-Out game is coming to the Wii in May and it's looking extremely promising from what I've seen so far. So that's definitely one to keep in mind.

this game shows the potential that the wiimote has for FPS games. it's the closest a console FPS will come to a PC FPS

It's a shame so few developers will use the wii for their FPS games, right fellas?
On a related note, I put my wii in my room (on the smaller, shitty tv that I don't use for my 360!) and started playing virtual console games again. Good times.

I don't understand why console shooters keep coming out, only morons buy them!
I also didn't like Corruption because they took all the emphasis off of exploration and tried really really hard to be Halo. The opening scene where you watch the neighboring ship get blown to bits by space pirates is even stolen from the first level of Halo 2.

I'VE NEVER SEEN A SHIP GET BLOWN TO PIECES BEFORE HALO 2. WHAT GREAT WRITING
