After being mentioned (With Jet Li as "vegeta") and cancelled, re-brought-up only to be cancelled (again) and then re-brought up AGAIN, only to be cancelled (YET AGAIN).

Except they didn't cancel a third time, they figured they'd just go ahead and make it anyways. And it's not even Dragonball Z, it's just DragonBALL (Like that OTHER live action flick, which wasn' cancelled either.).

I laughed for five straight minutes. I'd imagine this, the old flick, and some heavy drugs would make for a stellar experience.

What hell is going on?I think the kungfu star Jet Li would be the best candidate for the action show.Coz he is so cool when he beat down the enemy one by one!!

Just saw a prerelease of this movie and it's just godawful. It's like all they did was take the names of characters and built their own shitty story around them.

Piccolo was the main antagonist during the King Piccolo Saga in the original dragonball series and didn't become a self-sacrificing friend of the z fighters until after befriending Gohan in the Vegeta-Nappa Saiyan Saga.

Edit: Of course King Piccolo and Piccolo are two entirely different Namekians. So it would actually be more accurate to say that Piccolo was the main antagonist during the Piccolo Jr Saga.

WHen I saw the trailer for this it reminded me of a jackie chan movie with fantasy elements :(

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard that it didn't get very good reviews.

Not too surprising. I didn't think that the source material would translate very well.

Sweet lord in heaven...if MST3K never got ahold of this, they sure as heck ought to have. What were the people who made this taking?

Let's face it: Dragonball just isn't a series that translates well into a movie. :x

What a fool. Vegeta never does his Final Flash technique on the ground and when he did use it he was always in Super Saiyan form :rolleyes

Though, to be fair, he may be using Vegeta's Gatling Gun technique, in which case he should be glowing purple.

That's disturbing, though not quite as bad as a boy I saw who was forced by his sisters (I assume they were his sisters anyway) into dressing as Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls.
