Some of my favorite bands are Queens Of The Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails and Death From Above 1979. I just can't seem to find anything that resembles their sound since they are all very unique.

Let's see.

You consider QoTSA unique, but you probably don't listen to Kyuss.
You consider NiN unique, but probably don't listen to Rammstein.
You consider DfA1979 unique, but probably don' listen to Ruins.

And thinking outside this box, I suggest Samhain.

Rammstein is to NiN what Finch is to Glassjaw.

Hey Cedar, if you haven't heard Pailhead, try to find it. It's Ministry with Ian MacKaye. Even though Ian only sings, I think Al let him use that awesome raw Fugazi energy.

Hell, anything with Ian McKaye really. Especially Minor Threat.

I'm not really a fan of Minor Threat either. They were no Black Flag, I know that much!

Lastly I recommend Motorhead and Black Sabbath. Then go see Motorhead live and kill yourself. You'll have died a happy man.

minor threat is a damn fine listen.

I would have to suggest Titus Andronicus, although I hate Queens of the stone age so who knows?
