DeLuise died in his sleep around 6 p.m. on May 4, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, aged 75. He was hospitalized at the time, suffering from kidney failure and respiratory problems.

Shit, this guy and Cannonball Run comprise most of my favorite childhood memories. RIP Big Guy.

Ditto on that. Here I thought I was the only one who even liked that movie.
