Can someone explain to me what this whole tea-related fiasco is about?
I keep seeing news stories about tea parties and tea-bagging and it's very confusing. Has the lexicon of HALO finally made it mainstream of is it a happy coincidence?

If you are referring to what I think you are... People here in America seam to be under the impression that if they mail a tea bag to their Representatives in Congress its some how a gesture saying "we dont like what you are doing". They chose a tea bag because it symbolic of the Boston tea party.

Seminal event in the American Revolution. Now people are throwing teabags around to protest higher taxes, largely unaware that the term "teabagging" also refers to a sexual act:

I'm sure MM knows all about the Boston Tea Party. Throwing a Brits tea in the ocean is like burning a dollar in front of a Jew.

Is Obama taxing tea now? Or is it income? Shouldn't the drunk racists be throwing their income into the harbour to spite the government? Oh wait, they're buying the tea? Nevermind. :rolleyes

This is exactly the same thing that happened those many years ago.
Srsly, this is all very sad business and makes me all the more glad I'm retiring to the middle of nowhere in Spain.

Yes, I'm sure the Catholic farmers will not have any silly ideas about things and stuff.

I'll find a place. Really, I can stomach a great many working-class religious folk. Though, I haven't much of a reference for other countries'.

So just because they are right wing they have to be Bush supporters? Way to jump to conclusions.
