This could be cool. I'm not against remakes as long as they're not just attempts to one-up the original with current technology.
I liked Yellow Submarine but I didn't like those parts of it where the submarine lazily floats through collages and montages of collages and collages of montage collages.

It could be, but how many remakes have been on par with the originals?
I mean, if it must be made that I hope it turns out good. I just can't believe that they're so hard up for ideas.

If it's not a Tim Burton remake.

Take away the gothic tendencies and Burton would be perfect.
The director is the guy who did the Back to the Future trilogy, so no luck.

I only liked Yellow Submarine when I was but a wee lad. I just liked the part where John Lennon ( I think) got raised like frankenstein.
I mean it was basically a kids movie with crappy montages in them. High school musical made by a high school art class per se.

I saw it for the first time when I was starting middle school (because that was about the time when we got our N64 and Super Smash Bros and Master Hand reminded my parents of the Giant Flying Glove). I still love it personally. The songs are great and it's goofily trippy.

Not gonna lie... if they make a sequel(with Sgt.Pepper soundtrack) that would be pretty cool too.
