gif making software

does anyone knows a good gif making software any help would be appreciated

I use beneton movie gif, it's freeware and gets the job done pretty well

I just use image ready. If you have adobe photoshop, say 7 for instance, then image ready is going to be packaged with it. Well, atleast that's how I started using it but yeah, adobe's image ready has always worked really good with me so I think that's a really reliable choice.
