G'day,
I'm new to these Forums and Stop Motion in general.
Here to get some of your opinions!
Basically i thought i'd try my hand at a Clay Animation.
It's very short, being my first attempt i was mainly trying to get a bit of basic experience so i can undertake larger projects.
You can view it here;

All feedback is appreciated.
Cheers!

You must've had a lot of frames. That looked smooth. Of course, it wasn't that long of a clip so doing that in a long form would be a bit cumbersome.
It's good.

How about we talk a little before we jump in the sack together.

Oh come on, please tell us a little more about you. What inspired you to do stop motion and who your influences are. If you comfortable enough, your age and how long you've been messing with this kind of work. Perhaps you could even tell us about your equipment and what you went through to make this clip.

Apologies.
Here goes;
Well i'm 20, and from Australia.
I've only really just begun Stop-Motion. The clip i posted is my first and was done over around 2 weeks from 3 weeks ago, so havn't been messing around with Stop-Mo for long at all yet. Although my interest in Clay-Animation really begun around the beginning of this year after seeing the band Tool's music video's.
My main influences are; Adam Jones, Fred Stuhr, Ray Harrison and Ron Cole.
This clip only consists of 201 photos.
I used Adobe Premiere and AfterFX (Both for the first time) in the editing stage.
The camera i used; Traveler HD 10XI.
Let me know if there's anything i didn't cover, or more you're wanting to know.
Cheers.

Spent about 1 week making the Set/Characters.
2 days taking the photos - A bit over 100 photos a day, some were scrapped during editing.
A couple of days doing the Chroma Key/Disintergration effect seen in the intro.
Another couple of days piecing it all togethor / Editing.
what's your favorite type of food?
Kangaroo
do you enjoy long walks on the beach under the moonlight while reciting erotic literature? ;)
This is why i didn't do the whole getting to know me routine in the first place.

It's not really my favourite food, but i have tried it once.
I was playing towards an Australian stereotype.
It's actually one of the most tender meats i've had.
I'll get right on that, thanks!

Take out the intro in its entirety. I know you would only have a 9seconed video, but no video is worth watching when you have to wait through an intro longer than what you came to see.

I agree, you could put it at the end though.

Yeah, i wouldn't have even had a Title sequence at all.
But i wanted to explore and learn how to create Title sequences as well as include my Chroma Key / Disintergration footage in some way.
