View Full Version : Maybe I Need Emulation Software...

Hey, I brought my copy of Age of Empires Three to college with me but it seems that the game is not compatible with Windows Vista. I know my laptop is powerful enough to handle a game from 2005, but Vista has inhibited me for some reason.

I suppose I need some kind of Windows XP emulation software, so does anyone know where I can find it for free? Better yet, does anyone have any other ideas?

I'm not very computer literate. Could you elaborate a little?

right click on the gam and click on properties click on the compatabilty tab there will be a nbox that says run this program in compatability for and choose the operating system you previously played it on

Don't you have to change the processor affinity too?

Sometimes I have had issues with older games not working when run in compatibility mode but if you boot in safe mode it works. :\
