Isn't the comic just another example of super heroes trying to be real and in your face like Spawn was?

its about a kid who decides to try and be a super hero despite not having powers. he gets his ass beat in the beginning but eventually starts doing some super hero stuff and he meets a few other non super powered super heroes most notably the 11 year old girl named hit girl. i guess the movie sucks thou which is unfortunate :(

its very violent and was a good 7 or eight issues long. i never found the mini series boring at all, fun read in my opinion. i like my comics with crazy violence and its always fun to read about some new characters instead of the same old crap marvel and dc produce. this was a marvel comic but not on their main line.

speaking of spawn, the creator made a new comic character and its pretty awful :(

I'm not really into comics like that. Sometimes it just seems like a lot of superhero comics try too hard to be for adults and it is kind of off putting for me.

The only "serious" superhero comic that I really like is Watchmen. :\

the early issues of Punisher Max are pretty good as well. I get what you are saying about trying to hard to be for adults but its not really that bad when you are an adult and they are aiming the comic to be enjoyed by you and others in your age group instead of some 5 year old.

oh and since you like watchmen have you read V for Vendetta yet? I think you will enjoy it.

I liked it. There were some big differences from the comic, but I think they more or less worked out just fine.

I saw Kick Ass last night and I thought it was pretty awesome. Made me laugh, and I thought the action was great too.

How do they get little girls to swear like that?
So did you like it or not so much?

My GF and I checked it out last night, I enjoyed it for what it was. Cage channeled Adam West really well. The little girl stole the freaking movie though

I liked it...but just because of the ending (when the guy carried away the girl) sorry if I gave anything away... I saw it online so don't be too unhopeful.
The storyline was what kinda sucked...but overalll I like it
