That show was very odd. Was it another one of Hanna-Barbara's attempts to make a Scooby-Doo like show? Or did Ghostbusters (the one with the ape) come out before Scooby-Doo?

If so it would of been a prototype show for series like Jabba Jaw and Dune Buggy.

The ghostbusters with tracy the talking ape is a filmation sequel to the ghostbusters show made in either the late 60's or early 70's starring two of the stars from F-Troop(also one of my favorites) larry hagman and (I can't remember the other guys name) + tracy the ape.

Not too long. Maybe a season. I gotta check ranny's wiki post. Basically the people on the animated show are the sons of the live action ones. Tracy is the same ape though. The dads showed up in one episode of the filmation animated series and they may have had larry and forest voice them.
