View Full Version : So Halloween's coming up...costumes?

What's your costume plans, guys? What previous costumes have you done?
Last year I didn't know what to do, so I just bought an orange turtleneck, white ski vest and dark green skirt, then had my friend make me a rusty pipe out of paper mache. So I was Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3. I just wanted a costume I didn't have to change my hair for. I got to participate in a zombie walk with some L4D survivors; it was fun, but I still cringe thinking about the blisters. But I don't plan on using the Heather costume again since it was so rushed and mostly store-bought pieces.
This year I guess I'll use the Lili costume I had for Otakon. I'm surprised it remained completely in one piece after the con. Of course, I don't really know what I'd wear the costume for. So maybe I'll just forget it.

I'm probably going to be one of the guys from Ghoul like I was last year. No one knew who I was but people were legitimately afraid of me and would move across the room from me if they could. I also won 2nd place in a costume contest I didn't enter and the judges didn't bother asking what or who I was before scoring or however it worked.

Cool.
My daughter made me so proud last night. We were at a packed mall trick-or-treat event and Ronald McDonald was doing a "meet and greet". I mean, people were acting like he was a rockstar, he had handlers passing out coupons for hamburgers, it was pretty insane.
Anyway, he was smack dab in the middle of this gigantic crowd of kids all trying to talk to him, big ring of parents trying to take pictures of their kid with the guy in the Ronald McDonald suit, and so on. It had to be at least 15 people deep surrounding him on all sides, everyone wanting his attention, and what does he do?
Glances up over all the kids, mouth drops open, seems to forget who he is for a second, points and shouts with utter excitement and joy:
"OMG IT'S THE STAY-PUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN!"

I came up with the perfect costume idea but unfortunately don't have the cash to put it together. So use it if you want. You will need:
A white lab coat
Three blow-up sex dolls in the all-fours position (they must exist, right?)
Duct tape
Collar/leash
Put on the lab coat, inflate the dolls and tape them together ass-to-mouth. Apply collar and leash, and voila! You are a mad doctor with your very own human centipede!

I heartily endorse this endeavor! I request pictures.
Thanks! I will post some pictures either later tonight or tommorow morning, since I am going to a costume party tonight and I am bound to have a couple of pictures taken. Unfortunately, the moustache's sticky side dried out and it no longer sticks, so I have to improvise something.

Didn't know where to put this, since it's not me:

He had a helmet too, obviously, and the red trim all lit up flashing. Obviously.

I know Halloween is over, but here's a pic of the girlfriend and I in our costumes. She's Alice, and I'm the Mad Hatter. Unfortunately I didn't have more time, otherwise we would have gone all out on the makeup.

Zhukov,
Funny you should say that. Once the makeup started going on, I thought about changing my mind and going as the Joker. Maybe next year though. My only question is, do I go for Cesar Romero Joker, Comics Joker, or The Dark Knight Joker?

Only do Caesar Romero if you grow a mustache and then put the makeup over it.
