And the Celtics ended up beating the Heat. A little surprised though, the Celtics are notorious for losing in the 4th quarter.

Even better, then the Cavs minus Lebron beat the Celtics after the Celtics beat the Heat.
How's that one taste Lebron?

The owner of the cavs who dissed lebron after the "decision" paid the celtics undisclosed amount of cash to lose the game for number of reasons.

Wait so you are saying the Celtics are sellouts who care nothing for the integrity of the game?
Geggy
Oct 28th, 2010, 05:04 PM
they did it out of pity. empathy trumps integrity.

Except you just accused your Celtics of accepting payola from the Cavs :lol

The cavs lost to the almighty and powerful raptors by 30 points last night. Are you convinced now?

I may be waiting awhile.

Cavs vs. Heat tonight. I will watch (because seeing LeBron face the fans he dissed for no reason other than they loved him like a god)

Hey, I just realized that if you don't count the first 11 games of the season, the 76ers have the 5th best record in the Eastern Conference. :dunce

So Lebron tweets, "Karma is a bitch. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish ill on anybody. God sees everything." right after the Cavs got that beatdown from the Lakers.
Now Lebron says ""It wasn't no hit at that franchise, no hit at that team, especially those players at all. I've moved on and hopefully that organization is continuing to move on, but I'm happy where I am as a Miami Heat player."
Well it certainly wasn't "no hit" to the Cavs. Meaning it was in fact a hit to them indeed (truth through double negatives)
And Lebron is right, it seems God does indeed see everything, including Lebron's tweets. Why else would this happen?

People say he is one dimensional and all he can do is dunk but he scored 47 points making 19 shots out of 24 in a game last monday. Only recorded one dunk.

I gotta get more interested in B-Ball - the Sixers are above .500 for the first time in nearly 2 years.
They still suck, but much less so recently. Woot. :blah

You know it's good in your sports town when your worst team is still above .500
You got the likely winners of this year's Stanley Cup, the likely winners of the next world series, and a football team that is in it pretty much every year. Meanwhile, I root for the Browns :(

Better than rooting for the Cavs ... at least this year. :tear

Meanwhile, only the second NBA team I've ever routed for--the Nuggets--are holding their own while Anthony is smoking bliffs in NY. They rained down 3's on New Orleans 114-103, with Felton and Lawson leading the charge. Determined not to be another ClevCavs, they maintain #2 in the northwest. Hoo-Waaa!!

with the league full of prima donnas and crybabies this is why i love the C's (and da bulls). Rondo's comeback after that crazy injury was nothing short of amazing. i really thought he was done for the year.

My favorite team is the team that not once in it's history of the NBA lottery has it ever moved up from it's initial position. And guess what they got fucked again this year!

A few Miami Heat predictions for the Heat-haters. Some of 'em are sorta serious.
--Mike Brown replaced Jackson as head coach at L.A. Brown is LeBron's boy. LeBron's contract with Miami expires in 2016. King James will likely seek to finish his career on the sunny West coast.
--Chris Bosh is reportedly less than happy already. He misses the touches he got in Toronto. And LBJ has been less than supportive in this regard with the media. Discontent continues, and GM Pat Riley might deal a star away before a possible lockout after July--possibly for Enes Kanter of Kentucky, if they can swing it with Utah.
--Miami over Dallas in six. Micky Arison becomes the first ever owner/MVP. :D
--Mike Bibby may also become trade fodder, once the league settles the lockout issue. He played like a rusty wheel in the postseason, but that might mean nothing if he is just a tool--which he likely is.
--Despite favorable 2011 draft outcomes for the Cavs, Cleveland GM Chris Grant might have to wait as long as 2023 before the team is as much of a contender as the Heat. :O
Oh, BTW...Dallas has the lead in the third.

My bad. Shoot me. It was DALLAS in six. How my face is red! Good will to the Heat and their snoring fans, though. I gotta think King James carried the Cleveland Curse into Miami.

I think Dallas might have saved the NBA. It wouldn't be good for the NBA had Miami won.
