I like the something recent. Is the colouring done with pencils or something like that, or on a computer?

It looks like the figure was done in pencil, then inked, then the pencil erased, then colored penciled in, scanned in, and the background looks like photoshop.

I do like it a lot :>

Thanks! Yeah! I can share some more doodles. :) MLE is pretty right on. Printer paper, penciled out then inked then colored pencil with a bit of Red Sharpie, and the background was done using Paintshop Pro of all things. lol! I use Photoshop but I honestly I love working traditional art supplies. I just like feeling the pencils and pens in my hands, plus I like all the little procedures. I feel industrious because of it versus clowning around with my mouse or Wacom pad.

Thanks. :) I have thought about writing a story about that character. She's a sort of shaman. However, I am not a very good writer and even worse I find easy to start one but not to complete one. lol

Nice updates.

How long have you been drawing?

Your shading technique is also really nice. I've been an artist all my life and I still have a very very hard tome coloring in color pencil.

I have been drawing since I was 11. I am learning more all the time. I hope to be even better one day. I just need to put in more time, but my time is very divided. I am still learning to shade. I am entirely self taught. I never had a true art class. I think for how far I have gotten, I haven't done so bad.

Have you posted anything here of your art or have a deviant account?

This is the latest thing that I have done. My friend likes Urusei Yatsura a lot so I did this canvas workup of Lum for his Xmas gift.

It looks better in person. I wanted to have a sort of messy construction, sort of distressed. I am not completely happy with the face, but it will do.
