View Full Version : Let's play the Actor Game
Mockery
Jul 28th, 2011, 02:37 AM
Saw this going around on Facebook and thought it would be fun to do on here. It's pretty simple: You reply to this thread saying "I wanna play!" and I give you an actor's name via PM. You then have to edit your post and list one movie you love, one movie you like and one movie you don't like of theirs. If you like, you can include why you love, like or hate said movie as well. You can also include an "honorable mention" film if you like.
After you make your post, it's your responsibility to send the next person, who replies after your post, an actor that they have to post about.
IMPORTANT NOTE #1: Please only send your actor / actress assignments to each other via PM as to not clutter up this thread.
IMPORTANT NOTE #2: Please keep up with the thread until you've made your post AND you've sent an assignment to somebody else as well. If you make your own post but take long to send somebody their assignment, it will only slow down the thread. If somebody takes longer than 24 hours to give you your assignment, please let me know and I'll either get them to send you one or I'll send you one myself.
Here, I'll provide my own example of how each post would look:
I wanna play!
I was assigned Steve Buscemi by [insert user name here]
A Steve Buscemi movie I love: Fargo
Why: Easily one of the Coen brother's best films, and Buscemi is perfect in it. Seeing him get annoyed with his mute partner and his ever-growing frustration never gets old.)
A Steve Buscemi movie I like: Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead
Why: It's n absolutely awesome cast and a great movie that I never felt got enough exposure when it was released. Buscemi plays a small role as "Mister Shhh" but it's highly memorable seeing him as a silent, seemingly unstoppable hitman since he doesn't exactly have a threatening appearance.
A Steve Buscemi movie I don't like: Armageddon
Why: Steve may have the funniest moments in the film, but that doesn't save it from being a bloated turd filled with more cliches than any movie should ever have. It also has more Ben Afflecks than any movie should ever have.
Honorable mention: The Search for One-eye Jimmy
Why: It's a great little independent film that virtually nobody saw, particularly because it was only released on VHS, but it has some great performances by Steve Buscemi, Samuel Jackson, John Turturro, Michael Badalucco and more. Definitely worth watching if you can track it down.
Ok, who wants to play next?Easy enough, right? Good. Don't fuck it up.
Ok, who wants to play next?

"I wanna play!"
I was assigned all hell of such as KURT RUSSELL by RoG
http://www.nndb.com/people/906/000022840/kr-sized.jpg
A Kurt Russell movie I love: Big Trouble in Little China
I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid, but I remember watching like 20 times in two months. As far as I'm concerned, Kurt Russell is this badass in real life too. IT'S ALL IN THE REFLEXES.
A Kurt Russell movie I like: Overboard
Shut up >: I watched this as a kid too, and then I watched it again a couple years ago and it holds up but it might just be nostalgia doing its dirty work. One of the kids talked like Pee Wee Herman, which I totally did as a kid too.
A Kurt Russell movie I didn't like: Stargate
Which is a shame because I'm totally a nerd for the TV series. Maybe seeing the series first ruined the movie for me, because Col. Jack O'Neill will always be MacGyver in my head and ol' Kurt felt out of place. Also, sci-fi is for dorks :rolleyes
Honorable mention: Tombstone
Honorable mention because I have not seen this yet and I've been meaning too, even though I'm not big on Westerns. MY PARENTS LOVED IT AND THEY ALWAYS ASK ME IF I'VE SEEN IT WHENEVER I TALK TO THEM. Maybe getting assigned Kurt Russell is a sign to finally appease my parents.

I wanna play
I was assigned Edward James Olmos Esuohlim (http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/member.php?u=522).
http://www.grammywatch.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/EdwardJamesOlmos-LAGW-Jun11a-900x550.jpg
An Edward James Olmos I love: 12 Angry Men.
Why: He plays jurorn #11. This is the only movie I've ever seen him in.
An Edward James Olmos movie I like: The Green Hornet
Why: That movie looks pretty good.
An Edward James Olmos movie I don't like: Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Why: >:
Honorable mention: Dexter season 6
Why: It's gonna have Mos Def in it too. :picklehat

I wanna play!
I was assigned Simon Rex by 10,000 Volt Ghost. Seriously. Who the fuck is Simon Rex?
Simon Rex movie I love: Eugh, no. Just...no. I checked his imdb resume and there is not a single movie I'd pick.
Why: Because of Simon fucking Rex.
Simon Rex movie I like: I dunno, Scary Movie 3, I guess.
Why: It had maybe one or two jokes that almost made me smile.
Simon Rex movie I don't like: The Karate Dog
Why: I haven't even seen this movie, but just think about the damn title. Karate Dog. No good can come of mixing those two.
Honorable mention: No. I quit.
Why: Fuck you 10,000 Volt Ghost. I hope you are happy.

I wanna play?
Mad Melvin gave me David Spade. I'd rather have Davids AIDS.
http://i.imgur.com/soPBZ.jpg
David Spade movie I love: Tommy Boy
Why: Because it was a damn good movie. Mainly because of Chris Farley's antics, but David Spade's snarky tone about everything added extra punch to Farley's punch lines.
David Spade movie I like: Black Sheep
Why: It was like Tommy Boy part 2, but with different characters and a different plot. It had a lot of funny parts and while it wasn't as good as Tommy Boy, it was still good in it's own right.
David spade movie I don't like: Racing Stripes
Why: It was a stupid kids movie about talking horses and other animals. Who the fuck comes up with this junk? David Spade was a talking fly, which is about right because after Farley died he latches himself to a lot of shit.
Honorable mention: Grandma's Boy
Why: I can't think of any other movie he's in. He wasn't even that funny in this movie either. Was a funny movie though.

this sounds so fucken stupid and i'd want to play but the first male actor thatcomes to mind is toshiro mifune and it would beunfair tosend somebody toshiro mifune because he was literally in no bad moviessssssss ah fuck it
I WANNA PLAAY
EDIT:
k0k0 gave me norm macdonald and now norm macdonald will never see the light of day because he's all tied up
http://pcm-tv.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/norm-macdonald.jpg
A Norm Macdonald movie I love is not a movie at all: SNL
I liked Norm Macdonald on Weekend Update because he is monotonous and would forget lines or something. I thought he was pretty cool as a kid. Also didn't sometimes Jon Lovitz also appear opposite him on Weekend Update, or maybe just once as a guest? I don't know, but I liked it. I liked obnoxious comedians when I was a kid.
A Norm Macdonald movie I like: Billy Madison
I haven't seen this since I was very young but it's featured on Norm Macdonald's filmography and is probably the only one I've seen! He was Adam Sandler's buddy, right? RIGHT?!
A Norm Macdonald movie I didn't like: Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigolo
Apparently he was "BARTENDER" in this one so he was probably only in one scene but I saw this movie and it was awful and I hate it.
Honorable mention: The Norm Show
One time I somehow mentioned that I still remember some of the lyrics to the theme song of this show ("It's too bad that you're not as smart as you thought you were in the first place") and I think it was the only time my girlfriend wanted to break up with me.

Jul 28th, 2011, 12:22 PM
I get Maurice Micklewhite, a.k.a. Michael Caine. Thanks Aaarg!
http://www.topfoto.co.uk/gallery/smokingmen/images/prevs/0767532.jpg
(Taken back in the day when smoking was good for you. :x)
A Michael Caine movie I love: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I don't know if it's his interplay with Steve Martin, but this movie kills me every time I see it. And the ending (where the con men get conned by their mark) seals the deal. Cliché? Most surely. Well done? Oh yes. Best line in the movie? I'm getting a little tired of playing Ruprecht the monkey boy.
A Michael Caine movie I like: Cars 2 (voice of Finn McMissile). I saw this with my son and a host of his buddies. The movie kept my attention, and even though it was animated, I was drawn in. Watchable.
A Michael Caine movie I didn't like: Hannah and her Sisters. I know, Woody Allen movies drip with sarcasm and razor sharp wit and the critics love them. I'm not a critic. I did not like this movie, probably because the trademark WA angst seemed forced and fake. Plus, there was too much Caine - his voiceover musings during the movie were "over the top" boring. Pass.
Honorable mention: Alfie. Not the Jude Law remake, but the original. Old, but very good.

i wanna see the results :P
I get Charles Bronson, from the colonel flagg
http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTMxMzY5OTQwNV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwMTcyOTE2._V1._ SX214_CR0,0,214,314_.jpg
A Charles Bronson movie I love: Once upon a time in the west, i watched this movie whne i was young and its partly one of the reason i love the old west genre
A Charles bronson movie I like: House of wax good movie that sadly is now known for being that remade movie starring paris hilton :\
A Charles bronson movie I didn't like: Death wish V i don't know why but just wasn't very good
Honorable mention: Death wish spoof on the simpsons guess is kinda cheating since it wasn't really his voice

I'd like to "play"
I got Captain Spaulding himself, Sid Haig!
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/23/96953638_bf0e320b1a.jpg
A Sid Haig movie I loved: Kill Bill part 2.
I liked part 1 more actually, but Sid’s not in that one.
A Sid Haig movie I liked: The Devil’s rejects.
Pretty harsh, with some fucked up humor. Nothing to complain about here.
A Sid Haig movie I didn’t like: Jackie Brown
I usually like Tarantino, but this one did nothing for me. It’s too long without anything worthwile to back that up.
Honorable Mention: Captain Spaulding has a cameo in The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, pretty much an hour of animated boobs and zombie Nazis. I’m sure the teenage me would’ve loved the shit out of it.

I would like to play
And my 'ass'ignment from the good captain, is one heck of an ass, Val Kilmer
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q1/Pentegarn/imagesqtbnANd9GcQg31hhXvNL3dGBk6jsl.jpg
A Val Kilmer movie I loved: Tombstone. As westerns from the last 30 years go, this one was pretty great, it had a great cast and Val Kilmer stole the show with his portrayal as Doc Holliday
JGpajGj07BU
A Val Kilmer game I liked: The Doors. He played Jim Morrison with competence in this odd and tragic tale of the singers life.
61m_Dm44RHA
A Val Kilmer movie I hated: While I want to shit on Top Gun here, I can't because Batman Forever exists. Even by Tim Burton Batman movie standards this one was pretty bad. Though it wasn't the worst Batman, it was still pretty shitty.
3K2Y2cGDRhI
Honorable mention: So instead I will shit on Top Gun here. I hated this flick. I get that many love it, but I cannot get fully on board with it. But I will also say there are a few cheesy scenes in it that make me laugh, and one of them happens to involve "Iceman". So what enjoyment I can derive from this movie is thanks almost entirely to him. Case in point, this little gem:

It should come as no big surprise that Pent gave me Leo Dicaprio
http://tvkot.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/leonardo-dicaprio.jpg
This is actually kind of hard because his movies are either really good or just ok. They dont have much variety in the goodness department.
A Dicaprio movie I loved was: Blood Diamond. I actually really like it when he plays a bad ass.
BstunZN_e7g
A Dicaprio movie I liked was: The Departed. I dont care what anyone says. I thought it was a pretty cool movie.
6iz7k_tIdEY
A Dicaprio movie I hated was: Whats eating Gilbert Grape. Yeah yeah, he did a great job playing a tard and all but the movie itself was boring as hell and no fucking point.
Honorable Mention: The Great Gatsby. Not even out yet but am rather interested. Out of all the "classics" they make you read in school, this was one of my favorites even though he probably wont be an ass kicker in it.
Other Honorable Mention: Gangs of New York. Yeah this is a bad ass movie. I avoided it because I thought it was to easy and a to predictable answer. Not to mention its mostly a bad ass movie because of Daniel Day Lewis and not so much Dicaprio, not that he wasnt good though.

I'll play again plz want to.
http://i.imgur.com/RQuzw.jpg
Dimnos gave me Gary Oldman.
A Gary Oldman movie that I loved: The Fifth Element. He was pretty good in the movie as the bad guy, but I really just liked the movie in general. Multipass.
A Gary Oldman movie that I liked: Batman Begins. He made a good Gordon, and the movie itself was pretty much the ultimate comic book movie and still is. Fuck the dark knight as being the best.
A Gary Oldman movie that I didn't like: The Harry Potter movies. I hate that butthole Harry Potter so much. The only way I'll watch anything Harry Potter is with the 'Wizard People, Dear Reader' audio.
Honorable Mention: Dracula. The dude was a freaking Dracula. Enough said.

I wanna play again!
k0k0 gave me DANNY DEVITO
http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l9p0ij43gZ1qa0nd6o1_500.jpg
A Danny DeVito movie I love: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
There's no reason for me to explain why this movie is good.
A Danny DeVito movie I like: Throw Momma From the Train
They sure don't make comedies centered around murdering relatives like they used to.
A Danny DeVito movie I didn't like: Austin Powers in Goldmember
I was a stupid preteen when the first two Austin Powers movies came out, but by the time the third one came out I knew better! DeVito's small part was the funniest part of the movie, though.
Honorable mention: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
There's no reason for me to explain why this show is good. :rolleyes

I wanna play again too. :picklehat
I was given Morgan Freeman by Esouhlim:
http://static.thehollywoodgossip.com/images/gallery/morgan-freeman.jpg
A Morgan Freeman movie I love: The Shawshank Redemption
In addition to being a wonderful story and Morgan playing a great character as Red, his narration in the film is absolutely stellar and I attribute it to being one of the reasons I've never tired of the film and watched it countless times. If he's doing narration in a film, I'll almost always give it a shot.
A Morgan Freeman movie I like: Million Dollar Baby
Eddie Scrap-Iron Dupris was another great role for Morgan combining both a solid character and more narration. You also get to see him knock-out a cocky hot shot boxer with one punch. Good times.
A Morgan Freeman movie I didn't like: The Maiden Heist
The idea of Morgan Freeman teaming up with Christopher Walken to steal a painting seemed great on paper, but the movie really just goes nowhere and felt like a waste of time. Pretty disappointing.
Honorable mention: The Dark Knight / Batman Begins
I love the Dark Knight films, and Lucius Fox is one of the many entertaining characters found within 'em.
He was also fantastic in Se7en, which was my alternate choice for a movie of his that I love.
captain516

Yeah I want to play again.
And I won't mess up next time, Milhouse
Rog assigned me Ben Stiller.
http://images.askmen.com/photos/ben-stiller/19694.jpg
A Ben Stiller movie I loved: Dodgeball. His White Goodman is constantly entertaining and chews whatever scene he’s in. Without him, it wouldn’t be nearly as good.
A Ben Stiller movie that I liked: Tropic Thunder. Had its moments.
A Ben Stiller movie that I didn’t like: Zoolander. It was an okay first half, but then it turned lame. I think the "oh look, he's so stupid and clueless!" joke was wearing thin at this point. Killing the Prime Minister of Malaysia was also a stupid plot.
Honorable mention:

I wanna play!
But not with Simon Rex.
Captainwithnumbersattached gave me Charlton Heston. Fair enough.
Charlton Heston movie I love: In The Mouth Of Madness
One of those movies that capture the creepy H.P. Lovecraft feel almost perfectly. When I first watched this (I was maybe 12), the highway scene was so scary that I had to change the channel for a while. That never happens to me. Not before that, and not since. Underrated gem.
Charlton Heston movie I like: Planet Of The Apes
Yeah, I know what you are thinking: "Don't pick such an obvious classic you nimrod. But I forgive you, 'cause you have such a large penis". Well yes, I have a relatively large penis, but thats really not the topic of this thread, so I don't know why you brought it up. The movie on the other hand is just great. So many great quotes from Charlton.Avoid the remake.
Charlton Heston movie I didn't like: Armageddon
Granted, he only did the narration, but it still counts. What a horrible movie. Can you be any more cliche? And before you answer, I haven't seen any of the transformers movies. Which are quite bad, If I had to guess.
Honorable mention: Soylent Green
It is awesome. I was kinda torn between this and The Planet Of The Apes, but Apes is slightly better. Excellent movie, nonetheless.
Colonel Flagg
Jul 29th, 2011, 05:30 AM
Yeah I'll go again, too. :p
Mad Melvin also does me a rock solid by providing me my favorite comedian of all time - George Denis Patrick Carlin.
http://content.mydamnchannel.com/datastore/UserFiles/george%20carlin%20art.jpg
A George Carlin movie I love: No contest. Dogma. Casting Carlin as Cardinal Glick was a stroke of brilliance.
A George Carlin movie I like: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Not the Bogus Journey. It's more of a cameo role for him, but the movie was quite enjoyable.
A George Carlin movie I didn't like: Americathon. I don't think anyone saw this. Good reason, too. Too bad, with Harvey Korman and John Ritter it should have been better than it was.
Honorable mention: Cars (voiceover as Fillmore). Good animated movie.
Honorable mention-2 (TV): Any of his Comedy Central specials.
Pentegarn
Jul 29th, 2011, 06:37 AM
I will also in addition take a second turn too as well
I just received my orders from the Colonel, I am assigned Alan Rickman
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q1/Pentegarn/Alan-Rickman-Die-Hard_l.jpg
Alan Rickman movie I loved: This is a tough call, because I have to decide between 2 favorites which are due entirely to Alan Rickman's efforts. But I must make a decision so I will go with Die Hard. Without Alan Rickman this is just another action movie, with him it is a classic.
KShj0gPAH0g
Alan Rickman movie I liked: I could just as easily have put Galaxy Quest down as a 'loved' movie. Alan Rickman makes this movie and shows he has comedic chops
kgv7U3GYlDY
Alan Rickman movie I hated: Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. As bad as this was (and let's face it, no Robin Hood movie without Errol Flynn is going to be good) there was one shining spot in it, and that was Alan Rickman. He was not enough to save the movie but he was the only good part of it.
S6I_8HXcO54
Honorable mention: All the Harry Potter movies. (sorry koko) Love it or hate it, the Harry Potter movies are a lumbering juggernaut. No matter how you may feel about the movie series though, casting Alan Rickman as Professor Snape was a masterstroke.

http://www.thepictureperfectdetail.com/beverlyweb_original/bh_usa/our_customers/our_customers_cars/sam_elliott/sam_elliott_small.jpg
A SAM ELLIOT movie I love: TOMBSTONE
He's a beast in this movie.
A SAM ELLIOT movie I like: Buffalo Girls
He plays Wild Bill. Any movie with a Wild Bill going around getting Buffalo girls is amazing.
A SAM ELLIOT movie I didn't like: Marmaduke
He plays chupadogra. Yeah, cuz thats a thing.
Honorable mention: RED DEAD REDEMPTIONhttp://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100729015502/reddeadredemption/images/8/84/Landon_Ricketts_Wallpaper.jpg
I liked him in Ghost Rider as well.

I'd care to partake in this revelry!
I was assigned JASON SCHWARTZMAN by 10,000 Volt Ghost.
http://www.webwombat.com.au/entertainment/movies/images/schwartzman-2.jpg
A JASON SCHWARTZMAN MOVIE I LOVE: Spun. It's an off-beat drug flick about the adventures of a meth user (Schwartzman) and his wacky, psychotic cohorts, cut to look like even the film itself has speed leaking out of its canister. It's a very fun movie that details the reasons why you should definitely not do meth without being preachy or gay. Think Trainspotting with tweakers.
A JASON SCHWARTZMAN MOVIE I LIKE: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. You guys know this one. A hipster manchild has to duel his new ladyfriend's evil exes in a world running entirely on video game logic. Schwartzman plays Gideon Graves, the final evil ex-boyfriend, and he manages to be simultaneously hilarious, pathetic, and EEEEEEEEEEEEVIL in a fashion most infuriatingly postmodern.
A JASON SCHWARTZMAN MOVIE I DON'T LIKE: Bewitched. Fuck this movie, that's why.
HONORABLE MENTION: Bored to Death. I've only seen a few episodes of this, and I guess it was ok, if a bit underdeveloped. Schwartzman is adorable as the protagonist, a dorky, weed-smoking craigslist detective.

J6cgDH2e2L0
A Jude Law movie I likes: Gattaca
lvZ99otxjug
I wanted the clip of Jude Law giving the cop a hard time about questioning why he is in a wheelchair but I couldnt find it.
A Jude Law movie I dont like: Alfie. To slow, to boring, and not enough
bewbs. :\
Honerable Mention: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Awesome movie. I would have put it as the one I love had he been in it for more than 10 minutes.
Dr. Boogie
Jul 29th, 2011, 04:41 PM
Dimnos gave me Christopher Walken
http://www.timburtoncollective.com/images/walken1.jpg
Christopher Walken movie I loved: The Dead Zone
He really sold me on the idea that he was a psychic that I couldn't entirely trust because he may or may not be crazy. I didn't even mind that he was a grown man named "Johnny".
Christopher Walken movie I liked: Balls of Fury
I liked him pretending to be Asian, plus there were a lot of great bits from minor and supporting characters.
Christopher Walken movie I don't like: Joe Dirt
Liked him as the former mafioso turned janitor via witness protection program, but everything else in this movie...
Honorable Mention: Sleepy Hollow

http://www.size-acceptance.org/sandra_bullock.jpg
Sandra Bullock movie I love: Crash
It turns out I have seen a Bullock movie! But I forgot until I looked it up again, and then I remembered that she was a total cunt. This movie was pretty good but I remember next to nothing since I haven't seen it since it came out. I think Matt Dillon was a cunt too. This movie is full of cunts.
Sandra Bullock movie I like: Miss Congeniality
Never saw it but I think this is the first time I became aware of Bullock's existence. Then I looked her up and she was hot as secks back in the '90s.
Sandra Bullock movie I hate: Wrestling Ernest Hemingway
Never heard of it, but I'm sure she looks hot as secks in it since it was back in the '90s.

A John Ratzenberger Movie I Love: The Falcon And The Snowman--an uncredited role, but a great film.
A John Ratzenberger Movie I Like: A Bridge Too Far--another small role, but a great war movie.
A John Ratzenberger Movie I Hate: Cars--My ex-girlfriend's kids watched it all the time.
A John Ratzenberger Honorable Mention: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back--My supervisor looks like Jabba The Hut.

Mailcall stuck me with Jack Black
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/1751/jackblack1176533.jpg
Not the biggest fan, but I'll roll with it.
Jack Black movie I love: Be Kind Rewind.
I really liked this movie and the premise. While Jack Black plays pretty much the same wild person in every movie, I thought it fit a lot in this one.
Jack Black movie I like: Tropic Thunder.
I thought Tropic Thunder was the best comedy in years. It rules. Perhaps in spite of Jack Black, though.
Jack Black movie I don't like: School of Rock.
Gawd, he makes music suck so much.
Honorable mention: He had a small part as the guy in the van in Enemy of the State. I love that damn movie.[/QUOTE]

I'm totally up for round three.
...And we're off. Fathom Zero gave me Vincent Cassel. Not a big fan of the guy, but there are some good movies he's been in.
http://thefilmstage.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Vincent_Cassel.jpg
Vincent Cassel movie I love: Eastern Promises.
Viggo steals the show, but Cassel plays a total asshole really well. Love the movie too. The bath-house scene is amazing.
Vincent Cassel movie I like: Black Swan
Unlike a lot of people, I didn't cream my pants over this flick. It was good, but I don't feel the need to see it again. Cassel plays an asshole yet again and does it quite well. Maybe he is one in real life too, who knows.
Vincent Cassel movie I don't like: Brotherhood of the Wolf
It started good, but went too silly too fast. Meh.
Honorable mention: Irreversible
Fire extinquisher. Enough said.

Melvin assigned me Michael Dudikoff. (Who?)
No matter, I must have seen SOMETHING he was in, right? Uhhh.
http://trialx.com/curetalk/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2011/04/gcelebrities/Michael_Dudikoff-4.jpg
Michael Dudikoff movie I love: TRON - the original, with all the cheesy (by today's standards) effects still has staying power.
Michael Dudikoff movie I like: River of Death - I don't care what IMDB has to say, I like Alistair MacLean adaptations. I loved the book, so I must like the movie. I guess.
Michael Dudikoff movie I hate: Making Love - My wife made me watch this once - GOD I HATE THIS MOVIE SO DAMNED MUCH!!!!
Honorable Mention: American Ninja (the first one) - they made five for crap's sake, the initial one had to have been a little good, right?

My next assignment from the Colonel is Jill Clayburgh
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q1/Pentegarn/MV5BMTU5MDkzOTc0MF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTY.jpg
Jill Clayburgh movie I loved: The issue I had is there really isn't one I 'loved' or 'hated' so I will go with Bridesmaids here because there were some laughs to be had in the flick
Jill Clayburgh movie I liked: Love and Other Drugs. Decent story, not one I walked away hating
Jill Clayburgh movie I hated: Miles to Go. I never saw it to be honest, but it was a made for TV movie in the 80s so I am forced to assume it is terrible like most of them were
Honorable Mention: She has been on both Frasier and Rockford Files

http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n157/grislygus/cate-blanchett-lpjpg_e_b531446b815d841fa57ff7ac29559923.jpg
A Cate Blanchett movie I love: Hot Fuzz
I had no idea she was in this movie. wtf. Unless imdb is lying to me, I need to watch it again
A Cate Blanchett movie I like: The Talented Mr. Ripley
I LOVE Ripley, and was disappointed when Ripley Under Ground sucked. Still, even though Ripley's Game is my favorite by far, this was a solid movie that everyone seems to remember the name of, but no one seems to have actually seen.
A Cate Blanchett movie I don't like: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Yeah, everyone saw this one coming. Still, I don't think it deserves absolute foaming hatred, but it definitely deserved a tomato to the face. Shia Le Boofwad swinging through the trees with monkeys. Jesus Christ.
A Cate Blanchett movie I hate hate hate: The Gift
Why in the hell do people like this dull, steaming pile and then turn around and bash The Night Listener? I don't get it.
Honorable mention: LOTR, Life Aquatic
Unless you're a pretentious, ridiculous fuckwad who loves shitty 70's cartoons with bad music and who refuses to stop masturbating in public, Peter Jackson's take on the whole thing was obviously a good set of movies. i like Life Aquatic because I absolutely despised Rushmore, and was happily surprised by how enjoyable Aquatic was

http://www.cinemaisdope.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/james_coburn_duck_you_suckers.pnghttp://incolor.inetnebr.com/sumaree/nebraskafilm/images/coburn.jpg
A James Coburn movie I loved: In Like Flint. This movie is so rediculous its great.
8WjqyyRrD-M
A James Coburn movie I liked: Payback. Yes its more of a Gibson film but Coburns short part was great.
hLhDzaOu80g
A James Coburn movie I dont like: The Magnificent Seven. This was actually really hard to pick, more of a least favorite I guess. My grandfather liked this movie and I have probably seen it more times than I can count. Although he is a bad ass in this flick.

Ralph Macchio from Dimnos, alright.
A Ralph Macchio movie I loved My Cousin Vinny.
Joe Pesci is funny and Marissa Tomei is kinda hot :(
Ralph Macchio movie I liked The Karate Kid
It's old but still a good movie. I remember my dad making me watch it as a kid.
A Ralph Macchio thing that I didn't like Dizzyland
I haven't actually seen this tbh, but looking up on imdb, this sounds like something I'd find lame.
Lulu, a sexually abused teen, finds safety and love in another tortured soul. There aren't even any reviews for it.
Honorable Mention None b/c I've only seen two Ralph Macchio movies ever.

A Kevin Costner movie I loved Lets go with Waterworld. Everyone seems to hate the shit out of that movie.
A Kevin Costner movie I liked I saw the ending to Tin Cup...where he lost...but he won in his heart.
A Kevin Costner thing that I didn't like Robin Hood. I haven't seen it but I'm sure he fucked that one up too.
Honorable Mention Wyatt Earp. It should be filled with badass motherfuckery.

FUCK YEA, FATHOM GAVE ME SAM NEIL
SAM NEIL
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n157/grislygus/Sam_neil.jpg
YEAH
A Sam Neil movie I love: In The Mouth Of Madness
One of John Carpenter's best flicks; unpredictable, fast, wiggy, fun as hell. The ending stretch is absolutely one of my favorite examples of just straight up setting an actor loose on a movie. I love it
A Sam Neil movie I like: Jurassic Park
Im still not sure exactly why critics hated it. Everyone else on the planet liked it, they didn't. I assume it had something to do with sticks being firmly lodged up individual assholes.
A Sam Neil movie I don't like: Jurassic Park III
It's actually a fun movie until you see a dinosaur. That's pretty bad in a Jurassic Park movie. Then it goes from corny to retarded. Then it goes from retarded to gobsmackingly brain damaged on a level that one would normally associate with someone who somehow survived six tenths of their brain being hacked out
A Sam Neil movie I hate hate hate: Omen III
Don't watch this movie. Seriously, it's just not worth it. Sure, the second one was bad too, and the first was hammy as hell, but at least they were enjoyable
Honorable mention: Dude, list. All of them would fall under the "love" category. Red October, The Piano, Daybreakers, Event Horizon, Molokai, Dirty Deeds, That Doctor Zhivago miniseries, that corny Merlin miniseries, Skin...

Gus presents me with Willem Dafoe.
http://www.askactor.com/images/casts/United_States/14202/Willem_Dafoe_14202_2.jpg
I like this picture because it looks so much like a mugshot (how appropriate!)
Willem Dafoe movie I love: Clear and Present Danger - He rocks as Clark, the lead mercenary, and his pathological hatred of Jack Ryan, fueled by the dual soulless bastards Ritter and Cutter make this movie one of my favorites.
Willem Dafoe movie I like: Spiderman - Cheesy movie nearly ruined by Toby McGuire (only my opinion, remember, I'm not a critic), but again rockin' the house as the Green Goblin (take a bow, Mr. Defoe)
Willem Dafoe movie I hate: I wanted to say The English Patient, but I have to go with Speed 2. How much self respect did he have to give up to agree to be filmed for this 2 hour trashfest?
Honorable Mention: Finding Nemo (voice of Gill) - Animated but watchable, as are most Pixar films.

The Colonel gave orders for me to give Julie Andrews the once over.
http://i.imgur.com/tobYz.jpg
Julie Andrews movie I love: Mary Poppins: One of the first movies to mix animation with real live people and do it well. I enjoyed it as a kidling.
Julie Andrews Movie I like: The Sound of Music: This one is pretty decent. I remember watching it in school instead of having to do work, so it gets my vote as a like.
Julie Andrews movie I hate: Shrek The Third, Shrek Ever After: I hate that they're still making these. When will the franchise die?
Honorable Mention: Not really a Julie Andrews feature, but something that Mary Poppins inspired that I enjoy. Mrs. Featherbottom (Fingerbottom), from Blackstool.

Tom Hanks movie I loved: This is tough, because I love about half a dozen Hanks movies, I will go with Green Mile though. There was literally nothing wrong with this movie. It is in my 10 favorite of all time movies.
Tom Hanks movie I liked: Road to Perdition. I really enjoyed this movie, but it is a bit slow. It is worth the slowness though.
Tom Hanks movie I hated: Big. Not really a fan of Big. In fact I like all his dramas way better than his comedies
Honorable mention: Catch Me if You Can, Ladykillers, Saving Private Ryan, Toy Story 1-3, Charlie Wilson's War, Forrest Gump, The Money Pit, and of course Bosom Buddies

Tommie Lee Jones
http://www.hollywoodgo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/tommy-lee-jones-300x183.jpg
Oh my, where do I begin.
Tommie Lee Jones movie I love: The Fugitive - He is Detective Sam Gerard, no matter who played him first. Even though the movie is basically a Harrison Ford vehicle, Jones steals the show.
Tommie Lee Jones movie I like: This is the tough one, since I like nearly all his movies, but I'll go with Blown Away. He not only plays a good lawman, but is also a believable psychopath.
Tommie Lee Jones movie I hate: No contest. Batman Forever. Wall to wall suck. Even here, he is the only reason to even consider watching this 2 hour pile of crap.
Honorable Mention(s): (There can't be just one) Can I say all of them? No? How about In the Valley of Elah, No Country for Old Men, Men In Black, The Client and JFK.

The honorable Colonel gave me Glenn Close to work with.
http://assets.thehairstyler.com/images/celebrity/Celebrity_468.jpg
Glenn Close movie I loved: Mars Attacks!
This seems to be one of those movies you either love or hate. I loved everything about it. The movie knows how dumb it is and just rolls with it.
Glenn Close movie I liked: The World According To Garp
It's been a decade since I last saw this, but there are scenes in the movie that haunt me to this day. If I remember correctly, the movie was a bit too long, but had moments that almost made me sob like a little girl. Plus it had John Lithgow playing a woman.
Glenn Close movie I hated: Air Force One
Even though I really hate the movie, i've seen it like five times. Maybe it's because it's on TV eight times a year. And usually it's on when i'm bored and there is nothing else on. The premise is ridicilous and not even Gary Oldman could save this trash.
Honorable mention: The Shield. It's a good series. Glenn Close was only in one season, but I liked her character.

A Sean Bean movie I loved Ronin. No contest.
A Sean Bean movie I liked Silent Hill. I KNOW, I KNOW, you're all groaning but I had a fun time, love Silent Hill, knew what they were going on about, and loved it as an ridiculous, overblown, meandering, slightly creepy Hollywood extravaganza that still constantly made sure that we knew they paid surprisingly close attention to the source material
A Sean Bean movie I didn't like The Dark. I wanted to like it so badly :( Polished British chiller based on Welsh mythology? Right up my alley. Unfortunately the whole thing was pretty meh.
A Sean Bean movie I hate hate hate Black Beauty.

Vincent Price movie I love: Michael Jackson's "Thriller" - Look, I know it's not a movie, but when it came out, it felt even bigger than a movie at the time. And Vincent Price's rap is the greatest thing about that song and video.
Vincent Price movie I like: Dead Heat - Can't go wrong with a character named Arthur P. Loudermilk who can grant people eternal life.
Vincent Price movie I hate: Hard to say honestly. I never saw most of his earlier works, so I'm sure there's something in there that I wouldn't like.
Honorable Mention: - Anything he did with Alice Cooper and his role in Edward Scissorhands. It's a smaller role, but still a solid one for Vincent.

An Alan Cumming movie I liked: GoldenEye. Classic.
An Alan Cumming movie I dont like: Spy Kids. Any of them. They are ok movies for little kids I guess but :puke

Catherine Zeta Jones movie I loved: The Mask of Zorro. It had some cheesy moments, but was still fun and enjoyable.
Catherine Zeta Jones movie I liked: Entrapment. Just watching her train for the laser sensors was worth watching this movie :love
Catherine Zeta Jones movie I hated: Ocean's Twelve. No real need to explain why this clunker sucked, we all know.
Honorable Mention: The Terminal

A Gene Wilder movie I love: Big surprise here - The Producers. Very nearly a perfect movie. "Springtime for Hitler" indeed.
A Gene Wilder movie I like love too: Blazing Saddles. No explanation necessary.
A Gene Wilder movie I hate: See no Evil, Hear no Evil. Hard to believe that a Wilder/Pryor collaboration would suck, but this one just fell flat for me.
Honorable Mention(s): It's hard to pick just one - Young Frankenstein, Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, and Woody Allen's Everything you always wanted to know about sex (We're just FRIENDS!!!). I'll even give one to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but only for this one scene:

Meryl Streep movie I love: Death Becomes Her
Not the best Meryl Streep movie, but I still thought it was funny.
Meryl Streep movie I like: The Devil Wears Prada
Once it settled into regular rotation on cable, I finally had to step out and see what was going on after hearing that damned piercing ring on Anne Hathaway's cell phone for the 50th time. I thought she did made for a very convincing ballbuster.
Meryl Streep movie I don't like: The Bridges of Madison County

Chevy Chase movie I loved: There's absolutely no question here. Caddyshack. Easily in the 5 funniest movies of all time.
Chevy Chase movie I liked: A lot to choose from here, but I will go with Foul Play. Some classic moments in that movie and a lot of laughs to be had
Chevy Chase movie I hated: Caddyshack 2. As good as 1 was, the sequel that should have never been was bad. It is in my top 5 worst comedies list

http://media27.onsugar.com/files/2011/05/21/4/1718/17189540/91/natalie-portman-mila-kunis.jpg
Natalie Portman movie I love: Black Swan, it's a story about a seemingly sweet, young, sheltered girl and the movie begins to spiral into complete madness. It's a real mind fucker indeed, almost on a Stanley Kubrick level.
Natalie Portman movie I like: Mars Attacks! She was the little girl (presidents daughter), I had no idea. Awesome movie when I was a kid, the scene where the alien's fake hand impales Jack Nicholson with their planet's flag was great. I feel like this movie should be featured on I-Mockery some day (if it's not already).
Natalie Portman movie I hate: V for Vendetta, it's too long, too boring, and you don't even get to see the crispy bastard's face. Also, Natalie Portman cut all of her hair off for the movie. There are women with cancer who would kill to have your hair you selfish snatch >: Not to mention the putty-esque cgi figurine burning in the fire at the end looked like shit. And, it is very possible that none of those Anonymous faggots would even know who Guy Fawkes was if they hadn't seen this movie.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-quvTFKxLDFM/TZDAVPDvvMI/AAAAAAAAAUk/in1dKLcFJtk/s1600/rodney-dangerfield.jpg
Rodney Dangerfield movie I love: Back to School - if you want to see Rodney in his prime doing what he does best, this is my pick. He's a rich businessman who enters into college to help his son get through school, and along the way he shows everybody how to party and have a good time. Plus, he pulls of The Triple Lindy... the most difficult dive of all. Behold:
rDMMYT3vkTk
Rodney Dangerfield movie I like: Caddyshack - because it's hilarious and you get to see Rodney enrage a bunch of yuppies, so how can you go wrong with that?
Rodney Dangerfield movie I don't like: Little Nicky - I just didn't like the movie at all. It's not Rodney's fault - the blame rests upon the writers.
Rodney Dangerfield honorable mention: Natural Born Killers - a completely different role for Rodney, portraying a sadistic father, but I thought he did a good job with it.

Michael Ironside movie I loved: Total Recall, and if you need to know why, consider that a divorce.
Michael Ironside movie I liked: X Men First Class. Was better than I 'x-pected' :rimshot
Michael Ironside movie I hated: Gonna have to go with Top Gun again
Honorable mention: He was in the original V tv series and had a cameo on the A-Team in an episode

Pentegarn wouldn't show me how to set up the pong system unless I talked about Clint Eastwood.

Clint Eastwood movie I love: Unforgiven- I think this is one of Eastwood's finest jobs at acting. He played a great anti-hero and the movie was one of the best westerns there is.
Clint Eastwood movie I like: Dirty Harry- A lot of great lines came out of this movie that are still used today and even though it came out 10 years before I was born, I can definitely appreciate how awesome of a movie it is.
Clint Eastwood movie I hate: Space Cowboys- A bunch of old fuckers go into space to stop a satellite from falling. Shitty stuff no matter how good the actors are.
Clint Eastwood honorable mention: Gran Torino- He's a racist old dude who befriends a little asian boy. I rented this movie because I thought it'd be boring and get me some sweet sex, but my date got really interested in it and it kept me from scoring, but it was a good movie. I told the girl that I rented it because of how boring it sounded and thought we'd just end up doing it and she didn't contact me after that. (even though we fooled around a bit during the previews)

A John Lithgow movie I love:
Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension. No contest. I love this movie. (probably why I'm not a critic)
A John Lithgow movie I like: Cliffhanger. I know it's cliché and trite, but Michael Rooker makes it watchable. And I don't absolutely hate Stallone. (There. I said it.)
Another John Lithgow movie I like: Blowout. Not only was it filmed in Philadelphia, but one of my college dorms is featured prominently early in the movie (blink and you miss it).
A John Lithgow movie I hate: No contest, and no comment. Terms of Endearment.
Honorable Mention: 3rd Rock From the Sun. (I've never seen Dexter)

OH GOODIE. COLONEL FLAGG CRAMMED CHRIS ROCK IN MY POOPER. >: I have to say, I think you could've done worse though...
http://ezambiablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Chris-Rock_l.jpg
Chris Rock movie I love: Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang is a great movie. First off, it's directed by a white guy, whose also my favorite (alive) comedian, Louis C.K. It's about a kid who grows up and he speaks gibberish but for some reason oozes charisma and is loved by everyone in america. Chris Rock plays Pootie's father and after passing away, he later appears to Pootie in a vision as an ear of corn:
http://www.underground-gamer.com/imagebucket/CHRIS.jpeg
Chris Rock movie I like: CB4, AKA Cell Block 4, it's basically a mockery of the early rap scene of the 90's. Pretty funny movie if you like stuff like Don't Be A Menace.
Chris Rock movie I hate: Grown Ups, if you don't remember this shit fest it was an Adam Sandler movie last year starring Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Fatty from King of Queens, David Spade and CHRIS ROCK. Adam Sandler was great when I was in middle school, and now he's a dildo who is trying to recreate what little magic his first 2 or 3 or 1 movies had and it's easy to see it has quickly dwindled. This movie is terrible and is full of cliche nut shots and poop and pee jokes. It is stupid poorly written humor, and only exists because the writers thought that these guys all said a funny joke on accident and one point in there life so if you cram them together they might make a good movie. It's like the expendables if it was a comedy, only it tries way too hard.
Chris Rock honorable mention (FOR BEING A PIECE OF SHIT): I was looking on IMDB and I saw that he is directing a movie next year called Credit Is The Devil. You know, I'm all for racism. I think it's hilarious. And honestly for the most part I hate everyone. White, black, yellow I don't care. People suck. But is there a reason why people enjoy being stereotypes? Is it because they think the less fortunate will be able to relate and throw throw their money at them? You're trying to relate to people who can't get a house, a car or even a job by telling them that the one thing that they need to fix is the devil? When on top of that you're a goddamn MILLIONAIRE? Eat shit Chris Rock.

And my assignment was sent in picture form. One Michael J Fox
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q1/Pentegarn/Marty-mcfly.jpg
Michael J Fox movie I loved: Back to the Future has to go here. No question about it. One of my all time favorites
Michael J Fox movie I liked: The Frighteners. People seem to always forget this movie exists but it was a pretty damn good movie and screw anyone who says otherwise
Michael J Fox movie I hated: Doc Hollywood. While by itself I didn't hate it, Cars pretty much ripped it off and I hate Cars so I now hate this for making Cars possible.
Honorable mention: Mars Attacks. Both stupid and entertaining

And I'll go again! (This is me trying to save face because instead of editing my post I replied :( )
Pentegarn spreads me open and inserts Steve Buscemi. Mockery already did this one but ya know what, GET OVER IT >:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_sgnj3suDGAo/TKNeSgFV7LI/AAAAAAAABsA/S2xnwT9wt30/s1600/steve_buscemi_teeth.jpg
Steve Buscemi movie I love: Reservoir Dogs, great tarantino flick with alot of confusion, tension and back stabbing. Done in classic tarantino style showing different parts of a diamond heist between several guys who know nothing about eachother, however one of them appears to be an undercover cop. Also, this is a badass scene where Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) gets trashed by a car then gets up like a badass and pegs 2 or 3 cops before getting away:
http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lh7fooVN0I1qbpo86o1_400.gif
Also, movie spoiler:
He's the only one who lives, and probably goes on to use that diamond money to get some new fucking teeth.
Steve Buscemi movie I like: The Island, he plays as an employee in the facility who befriends the main character and then later helps him and his love interest escape. All in all though The Island kicked alot of ass and is one of my favorite movies despite all of the Micheal Bay hating. Plus, Scarlett Johansen is a mega fox.
Steve Buscemi movie I hate: I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry, More Adam Sandler tom foolery that makes you wish that this movie was filmed on top of the world trade center September 11th, 2001.
Steve Buscemi honorable mention: Monster House, he plays the voice of the main old guy who hates trick or treaters. This was marketed as a kids movie a few halloweens ago but the movie is actually pretty awesome. The house is scary as shit and the way that the story wraps up towards the end is really morbid/disturbing. If you thought this was some nickelodeon kids bullshit, I suggest you check it out.
(Also Pent, You did the Mcfly great justice. The Frighteners rules. Its the only movie I think I own on VHS, DVD, AND Blu-Ray.)

OK. I'll get "thrashed" one more time.

ThrashO gives me Viggo Mortensen. You're forgiven. :)
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_8GJbAAr1DY8/TUFChA_R-CI/AAAAAAAACkc/-Kjq9PjhVBw/s1600/viggomortensen.jpg
The challenge is to fill out the list without mentioning anything involving hobbits. Hard to do.
A Viggo Mortensen movie I love: Crimson Tide. Conflict on a nuclear submarine. Weak storyline, with some great acting. I approve.
A Viggo Mortensen movie I like: Vanishing Point. I'm more familiar with the original from 1971, and it was rewritten and updated, which usually means the new version sucks, but in this case, Viggo makes sure it doesn't. Suck, that is.
A Viggo Mortensen movie I hate: Psycho. Nothing beats the original, and this doesn't even beat a cheap remake. Pass.
Honorable Mention: Witness. The scene in 30th street station seals the deal for me, personally. So what if it's not strictly a factual depiction of Amish life.
EDIT: PG, I would also suggest you check out some other not-so-comedic roles of Mr. Fox, such as Casualties of War, Bright LIghts, Big City and Light of Day. All worth at least a look.

Colonel's orders, I am to break down Kevin Spacey movies. Damn you Kevin Spacey! You steal all of my rolls!
Kevin Spacey movie I loved: The Negotiator. For what it had for ingredients it was a decent flick.
Kevin Spacey movie I liked: Austin Powers Goldmember: OK, I admit it was stupid, full of recycled jokes, and so on, but there were still some new laughs to be had and they were almost all based on the actors within the movie slated to play the characters in the movie within a movie. Kevin Spacey as the movie Dr. Evil was funny.
Kevin Spacey movie I hated: Bug's Life. It didn't do it for me. Pixar had better offerings than this
Honorable mention: A Time to Kill

Brendan Fraser movie I loved: ...
Brendan Fraser movie I liked: I liked Blast from the Past, Dave Foley and Christopher Walken are good in it
Brendan Fraser movie I hated: Pretty much everything this guy has been in sucks, but Crash is the biggest crime against film

http://www.bodylovewellness.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/john-goodman.jpg
John Goodman movie I love: The Big Lebowski. He was absolutely hilarious and it's one of my favorite movies of all time.
John Goodman movie I like: Bringing out the dead. Underrated movie. I even liked Nicholas Cage in this one.
John Goodman movie I hate: Blues Brothers 2000. Do I even need to explain why this sucks? Good god was this movie unnecessary. Evan Almighty was pretty awful too.
Honorable Mention(s): O Brother Where Art Thou, Barton Fink, Raising Arizona, C.H.U.D.... The list goes on.

Mad Mel gives it up for Denis Leary. Ummmm.
http://images.huffingtonpost.com/gen/43981/thumbs/s-DENIS-LEARY-large.jpg
A Denis Leary movie I love: Many people will groan when I say The Ref. I love this movie, perhaps because it reminds me of my childhood. The cast plays the comedic dysfunction of Christmas with the Therapist to perfection. Leary is not lost in the movie, which is tough considering he's acting alongside some of the best in the business.
A Denis Leary movie I like: Demolition Man. Yes, it's basically a Stallone vehicle, but there are some understated performances by Leary, Bullock, Bratt and Hawthorne. And the comedic elements (how are you supposed to use those 3 Seashells (http://www.i-mockery.com/shorts/three-seashells/)??) are terrific.
A Denis Leary movie I hate: Any sequel to Ice Age. Enough already! >:
Honorable Mention: Rescue Me. Worth a look.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_cKpqRHkdxio/TUiOjtZtiqI/AAAAAAAAAoo/BHvnUFOwiqo/s320/for%2Byour%2Bviewing%2Bpleasure.jpg
Jeff Goldblum movie that I love: The Fly, one of my favorite movies, the arm snap still makes me cringe. I love the scene where he's climbing on the ceiling and he lifts up his shirt to show a huge disgusting growth, and using none of his scientific knowledge he only says calmly: "See, whats this? I dunno." Good movie. Even though he wasn't in The Fly II, there was still a really good face rip and a couple good head plops.
Jeff Goldblum movie that I like: Jurassic Park, dinosaurs and guys getting eaten while pooping.
Jeff Goldblum movie that I hate: I honestly don't know enough about the guy to be able to think of a movie that I hate :/
Jeff Goldblum honorable mention: Powder, I don't remember much of this movie but i saw it when I was a kid and it weirded me out. It's about some albino chick who can control lightning or some shit I dunno. Jeff Goldblum was the teacher and there's a scene where she shoots electricity out of her face in the middle of class and Jeff Goldblum just has this look like "Bitch. I am trying to teach."

Edward Norton movie I loved:Red Dragon. I loved the three Hannibal Lecter movies. Even the prequel.
Edward Norton movie I liked: Fight Club. Enjoyable movie with a twist ending that didn't insult the viewers (take notes on how that is executed M.Night Schmingdimschmingler)
Edward Norton movie I hated kind of disliked: The Italian Job. It just didn't do it for me
Honorable mention: The Illusionist, The People vs. Larry Flynt

Pentegarn must have been in a merciful mood today, because he stuck me with William H Macy.
http://www.moviewatchlist.com/cast_gallery/images/William%20H%20Macy%20(3).jpg
A great Macy movie: Fargo. It's a Coen Bros. movie, it'll be a good time.
A good Macy movie: Pleasantville. It's hard for me to say why I liked this, so I'll just say it's a nice feel good film.
A shitty Macy movie: Jurassic Park 3 Yet another threequel that sucks, and another example of a studio milking a franchise bone dry.

A John C. McGinley movie I love: No contest - Office Space. If you don't agree, then I have some TPS reports for you to fill out.
A John C. McGinley movie I like: This is tougher. While I liked Se7en, he only had a small role, so I'm going with Article 99. The movie was somewhat derivative, but I liked the acting.
A John C. McGinley movie I hate: Wagon's East was pretty bad, plus it was John Candy's last movie before his death.
Honorable Mention: Scrubs. Check it out.

Owen Wilson movie I loved: Shanghai Noon. Corney? Yes. Stupid? Sure, I won't argue that. Funny. Absolutely. And Owen Wilson carried this movie on his back
Owen Wilson movie I liked: Starsky and Hutch. As throwback remakes go, this one could have been worse. And I think that the casting was perfect across the board for a show that was cheesy in the first place.
Owen Wilson movie I hated: Cars. Fuck Cars, Fuck Cars in the tailpipe with something that would do damage to it
Honorable mention: Behind Enemy Lines
Dr. Boogie

I keep thinking that one of these days, Ex Leper is going to return to the boards and finally give us the three Alec Baldwin movies I told him to name.
In the meantime, I want in again.
Pentagarn gave me Vincent Schiavelli. Once I looked up who he was, I immediately recognized him as that one character actor:
http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2006/news/060109a/vschiavelli.jpg
Vincent Schiavelli movie I loved: Johnny Dangerously. Underrated Naked Gun-esque comedy with Michael Keaton in the title role.
Vincent Schiavelli movie I liked: Ghost. Man did he want those smokes.
Vincent Schiavelli movie I didn't like: Buckaroo Banzai. Saw it years ago on Comedy Central after hearing good things about it. At the time, it just didn't seem all that funny to me, and I didn't really get what they were doing with the title character. I felt like there was some required reading I missed out on.
Honorable mention:Corpse Killer. God, this game sucked. I hoped he got paid more than the other "actors."

Unfortunately, I am not a horror film afficianado, so I must rely on my experience with his work in TV. Apologies all around. :(
A Jeffery Combs role I love: Weyoun in Star Trek: Deep Space 9. The Vorta everyone loved to hate.
A Jeffery Combs role I like: Kevin Burkhoff in The 4400. I liked this series, and would have appreciated better and more consistent air-times. :(
A Jeffery Combs role I hate: The Andorian Shran on Enterprise. Way to ruin the franchise. >:
Honorable Mention: I haven't seen any of his horror films, but I imagine he was good in The Re-Animator. They made a sequel.

Hrmm... I got Shirley Maclaine from the Colonel.. I have honestly not seen many movies with her in them..
http://www.latimes.com/includes/projects/hollywood/portraits/shirley_mac_laine.jpg
A Shirley Maclaine movie I love: The Apartment
Why: Lemmon is a great actor and she played well against him. I also like the fact the movie was contraversial for it's time because it talked about infidelity and adultery.
A Shirley Maclaine movie I like: Steel Magnolias
Why: It's full of diverse characters and it has a great ensemble cast. She's such a feisty character in this movie. I like her bold, feisty film roles.
A Shirley Maclaine movie I don't like: I haven't really seen many to give an opinion on which I didn't like.

A Bob Newhart Movie I like: The Bob Newhart Show - with Suzanne Pleshette, they formed the classic functional/dysfunctional dink dynamic.

Edward G Robinson movie I loved: The Ten Commandments. It was an epic movie, and it shows every Easter.
Edward G Robinson movie I liked: Key Largo. What's not to like, it has Bogey
Edward G Robinson movie I hated: Soylent Green. I don't really hate Soylent green but "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!" makes it in the bottom of his list

Ok so I got Harrison Ford!
A Harrison Ford movie I love: Blade Runner. It took me three viewings to finally get why this movie is so brilliant. Now I think it is on par with 2001: A Space Odyssey. This is a film that NEEDS to be seen on a big screen, you just don't get the same atmosphere in a living room type setting
A Harrison Ford movie I like: Bruno. Ok, this isn't really a Harrison Ford movie seeing as how he's in it for a grand total of 5 seconds. But I personally thought this film was funnier than Borat (maybe because all the jokes were ruined for me before I even saw the dang thing)
A Harrison Ford movie I hate: Six Days Seven Nights. This isn't really fair, I haven't seen the film since I was like 8 or 9 (I think I just wanted to see it because I loved Star Wars). I don't even remember hating it, I just remember thinking it wasn't very good.

A Mark Hammil movie I hated: Wizards. I liked it when I was a kid, but as I got older I liked it less and less till eventually I just thought it was crap. God Bakshi sucks (See Bakshi's Lord of the Rings for more evidence of his suckiness)

Gimme another hit.
5garn gave me Johnny Depp, so here it is:
http://i.imgur.com/vyQcP.jpg
A Johnny Depp movie I love: Edward Scissorhands: The movie creeped me out a bit when I was young, but it was excellent in how crazy it was bringing a dude with scissors for hands who was gangly/awkward, trying to make him fit into the modern world. And it really is a great movie.
A Johnny Depp movie I like: Platoon: One of the best war movies out there. There are some really memorable scenes in this movie.
A Johnny Depp movie I hate: The Pirates of the Caribbean (all of them): Shitty movies with a shitty story. Even a disney executive (http://www.avclub.com/articles/disney-executive-says-that-story-doesnt-matter-whe,60512/) said story doesn't matter when you have big set pieces and cgi to create a successful movie. Not an authentic pirate tale. Would have been nice if it was a movie kinda like the pirate movies of old, but it's disney and they have to overdo everything and make it shit.
Honorable Mention: The Imaginarium of Doctor Pernassus: Was decent, not great, but had a lot of fancy set pieces.

The buttonless Mr. Rongi serves me up a steaming bowl of Woody Allen.

A Woody Allen movie I love: This is a tough one - I'll go with Take the Money and Run, because it cemented him as a fixture in Hollywood. Plus it cracks me up every time I see it, especially when he's singing on the chain gang.
A Woody Allen movie I like: How do I limit this to only one movie, when there are so many to choose from - How about The Front. His last line - "You can all just go f*** yourselves.", shocked me back in the day.
A Woody Allen movie I hate: Interiors is tied with Hannah and her Sisters

Bill Paxton is the assignment.

A Bill Paxton movie I love: Apollo 13. I was 10 (and already come into my own as a science geek) when the actual events took place, so this movie resonates with me in a way few movies can.
A Bill Paxton movie I like: I have a soft spot for Indian Summer. True, it's more of a "relationship movie" (read: chick flick) but there's a scene with Paxton and Alan Arkin (the trophy scene) that makes you sit back and say "Wow."
A Bill Paxton movie I hate: There are two - I want to go with Twister (the only part of this movie that's any good is where Jonas gets beaned with a telephone pole), but my nod will go to Titanic. If they could bury every copy of every DVD, VHS, film or pirated version of this film in the salt caverns where they are burying all our spent nuclear fuel, it would be a good start.

http://artfiles.art.com/5/p/LRG/37/3704/DR2AF00Z/the-magnificent-seven-yul-brynner-1960.jpg
A Yul Brynner movie I love: The Magnificent Seven. Oh man. This movie definitely stands the test of time.
A Yul Brynner movie I like: The Ten Commandments. Epic isn't a big enough word to describe this film.
A Yul Brynner movie I hate: Futureworld. Not enough Yul, too much Peter Fonda.
Honorable Mentions: The King and I - literally for him it was the role of a lifetime, as he played it on stage and screen (winning an Oscar) and toured as the King of Siam right up until his eventual hospitalization and death at age 65. Westworld was also fun, although his dialog is a bit thin ("Draw ..."), but every time he appears on the screen, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. In his day, he was the leading man's leading man.
Finally, worth a look is his rather powerful PSA (stipulated to be aired only after his death) vilifying tobacco companies and the habit of smoking as the direct cause of his illness.

A Robin Williams Movie I Love: Good Morning Vietnam. It had funny stuff amid serious scenes ala M*A*S*H. Plus Williams being Williams.
A Robin Williams Movie I Like: Good Will Hunting. Despite the presence of Ben Affleck, this movie was really good. Mostly because it was held up by Williams and Stellan Skarsgard.
A Robin Williams Movie I Hate: Popeye. Yuck.
Honorable mentions: The Fisher King, The Survivors, Awakenings.

http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/14700000/gary-sinise-gary-sinise-14749301-511-558.jpg
A Gary Sinise movie I love: Forrest Gump. 4 words - "Lieutenant Dan .... ice cream!"
A Gary Sinise movie I like: Apollo 13. Another great movie, which I've nominated before, for another actor (Bill Paxton).
A Gary Sinise movie I hate: I might have mentioned this before, in another thread, but Mission to Mars is wall-to-wall suck. My God, I hate this movie so damned much, and it's such a surprise, since I generally love the cast - Tim Robbins, Don Cheadle, Jerry O'Connell and Kim Delaney - and director Brian DePalma. How could they miss, right? Well, they did. >:
Honorable Mention: Sinise does a good job in CSI: NY, and I also enjoyed the Forgotten.

A Kevin Bacon movie I loved: Animal House. Classic comedy that made me rethink the buffet line and joining a fraternity.
A Kevin Bacon movie I liked: Apollo 13. Always thought this was an excellent idea for a film.
A Kevin Bacon movie I hated: Hollow Man. Looking at Rhona Mitra was the only good thing about this schlocky stew.
Honorable mentions: JFK, Sleepers, Diner, Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

An Elizabeth Taylor movie I loved: Cleopatra. Hollywood knew how to do up the epic movies back in the day. I believe this movie cost 2.3 quadrillion dollars to make
An Elizabeth Taylor movie I liked: The Taming of the Shrew. Most of the takes on this Shakespeare comedy are good
An Elizabeth Taylor movie I hated: The Flintstones. Not even a legendary actress of Liz Taylor's calibur could save this flaming turd
Honorable mention: While I never saw it, I would be remiss if I didn't mention National Velvet

OK.
Hoo boy. Pent, buddy, you have done me a great honor, and have given me perhaps the toughest actor yet to do in this game.
I have been graced with perhaps the greatest actress in the history of film - Katharine Hepburn.
http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/specials/prince-william/great-kates/katherine-hepburn-435.jpg
Oh my, my, my. Where do I begin.
A Katharine Hepburn Movie I Love: This is a very VERY difficult choice, but I'm going with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, since it also features two of my other favorite actors of the era, Spencer Tracy and Sidney Poitier. It also tackled, at the time, a very intriguing social dilemma - what happens to a middle class American family when the daughter brings home, as her fiancé, someone who is acceptable in every way except one - skin color. And the movie was made in 1967, one year before the death of Martin Luther King Jr.
A Katharine Hepburn Movie I Like: On Golden Pond - A sentimental favorite since it includes an ailing Henry Fonda (who passed away within a year after receiving his "real" Oscar) giving the performance of his career. THe subject matter was a bit too sentimental (if you know what I mean) for my tastes, which is why it's only a "like".
A Katharine Hepburn (TV) Movie I Hate: Mrs. Delafield Wants to Marry. Why in the name of all that is holy did anyone think this was a good idea?
The many many Honorable Mentions: The African Queen; The Philadelphia Story; Suddenly, Last Summer; Adam's Rib; Woman of the Year -the list is long and lush. If any of you have the urge to see an old movie, google her filmography and just randomly pick one. You shouldn't be disappointed. Just do me a favor and see them in Black and White first. :Ih8colorizing

Dan Aykroyd movie I loved: Trading Places. Hilarious
Dan Aykroyd movie I liked: Ghostbusters. Lot of good lines and oh so much merchandise
Dan Aykroyd movie I hated: Gonna have to go with Caddyshack 2 yet again. God this movie sucked
Honorable Mention: The Blues Brothers. If you don't watch this movie, I will eat at your house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day of the week.

Michael Clarke Duncan movie I loved: The Green Mile--What else?
Michael Clarke Duncan movie I liked: Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby--Funny stuff. And I'm not a NASCAR fan.
Michael Clarke Duncan movie I hated: Daredevil. The only daring thing was watching this movie.

I get all the old ones. ;)
A Henry Fonda movie I love: 12 Angry Men. Probably the greatest ensemble movie ever. Go on, prove me wrong.
A Henry Fonda movie I like: Mr. Roberts. He played it on stage and screen, and the movie won the Best Picture Oscar in 1955 which was (and still is) unusual for a comedy.
A Henry Fonda movie I hate: Yours, Mine and Ours. I was never a fan of Lucille Ball, and she ruined this movie for me.
Honorable Mention(s): Fail-Safe. Check it out. Plus pretty much any movie of his with a western theme.

Anthony Hopkins movie I loved:No question, Silence of the Lambs (will go ahead and lump in Hannibal and Red Dragon too) and it is entirely due to his efforts.
Anthony Hopkins movie I liked: Fracture. I liked this one, though many forget it even existed
Anthony Hopkins movie I hated:The Grinch. He may have only narrated it, but that counts for me.

And yes, I lied. I'll go again. :)
The mailman always delivers, and he delivered a beauty - Jennifer Connelly
http://popero.com/starpics/thumb002/jennifer-connelly-a023.jpg
A Jennifer Connelly movie I loved: Labyrinth - showing my age again, but this is a cult classic. Where else can you find evil muppets? David Bowie holds his own, and in some places carries the picture. Not much on plot, but great on imagery.
A Jennifer Connelly movie I liked: Hulk - OK, shoot me. I liked Sam Elliott and Nick Nolte in this movie, Eric Bana was bland, sure, but he didn't suck, and the dual cameo of Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno was cool.
A Jennifer Connelly movie I hated: The Day the Earth Stood Still. Should have kept on moving.
Honorable Mention: She only had a small role, but Once Upon A Time In America is a great movie. Also, House of Sand and Fog - very difficult to get through but ultimately worth it. Real depressing, though - don't watch if you're having thoughts of suicide.

His movie catalog is limited mostly to a few movies made in the last few years, only a couple of which I have seen, and all of which I hated(except the Hank Gathers TV movie, and I only kind of liked that movie), 2 movies I hated and 1 I liked would be boring, however, he has been in almost every TV show every made in cameo roles, so we will use that
Ken Foree TV show I loved: Cheers. he played a police officer in an episode of one of the greatest sitcoms ever made
Ken Foree TV show I liked: Quantum Leap. He played something/someone called The Brush. I don't remember this entity, but I liked the show and watched almost every episode
Ken Foree TV show I hated: Family Matters. Doesn't matter what he played, this was a terrible show
Honorable mention: We'll stick the hank Gathers movie here, only because Loyala Marymount was a beast of a school in basketball in those days

Don't even bother with Wellville. There was only one moment in the movie where I laughed ... yet one of the movie's main songs was entitled "The Laughing Song". Ah irony.
Yes, yes, I know. I'll take another, while I'm waiting for my next mail delivery.
Pent, you're killing me. Another nearly impossible task. Gregory Peck.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/Gregory_Peck_in_Roman_Holiday_trailer_cropped.jpg
A Gregory Peck movie I love: To Kill a Mockingbird. Is there any other choice? He is Atticus Finch.
A Gregory Peck movie I like: The Guns of Navarone - another adaptation of an Alistair MacLean novel did not fail to disappoint me. Plus it has Zorba! How can you not like this movie?
A Gregory Peck movie I hate don't like very much: The Yearling. :blah
Honorable Mention(s): Pretty much every movie he had been in. I'm serious, he was that good of an actor. Legendary. I recommend Cape Fear (the original); The Omen (of course); Roman Holiday (just to see him in a comedy); The Boys from Brazil; and On the Beach.

Matthew Broadrick Movies I Loved: The Cable Guy - A very underrated and slightly disturbing film. One of my many examples to why Ben Still is better as a writer/directer than and actor.
Matthew Broadrick Movie I Liked: War Games - A great story, solid presentation and still relevant. I normally hate remakes but this story would be prefect for a modern adaptation now that hacking is more accessible.
Matthew Broadrick Movie I Hated: A tie between Godzilla & Inspector
Gadget
Honorable Mentions: That movie with the pedophile principle.
BONUS! Matthew Broadrick movies I'm ashamed to like: The Road To Wellville (filmed in my city at the Mohonk Mountain House)

Donald Sutherland movie I loved: Animal House. Fun fact: Donald Sutherland was asked if he wanted to be paid with an upfront sum of of 40k or 2.5% of all profits (this would of course include video sales on all formats). He chose the 40k, way to be champ!
Donald Sutherland movie I liked: Kelly's Heroes. I think every actor in the universe was in this movie, even the ones not born yet.
Donald Sutherland movie I hated: Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Kind of stupid that a Final Fantasy movie would have nothing to do whatsoever with anything Final Fantasy. They would have been better served to tape a guy playing a Final Fantasy game.
Honorable Mention: Klute, MASH, The Dirty Dozen, The Kentucky Fried Movie, JFK, Outbreak, A Time to Kill, Instinct, Space Cowboys, Reign Over Me

Bill Murray Movie I Liked: Caddyshack. A hitter's lineup of comedy greats. But Rodney stole the show.
Bill Murray Movie I Hated: Tootsie. Everyone else liked it. I thought it sucked. Good thing Murray had a small part.

http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-ash2/274342_100001513585279_286947_n.jpg
A Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie I love: Inception. 'nuff said.
A Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie I like: A River Runs Through It - I'm not ashamed to really like this movie. Plus, it shows Gordon-Levitt's acting chops at a very young age.
A Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie I hate: I won't say G.I Joe - The Rise of Cobra, because I didn't see the movie, although it probably sucks. For this, I'll go with Angels in the Outfield. He was still young, so he can be forgiven for this choice.
Honorable Mention: I said it before for John Lithgow, but the series 3rd Rock from the Sun was very good, and again showed his acting talent at a young age. (500) Days of Summer was also very good. I'm also hearing great things about 50/50. At the tender age of 30, I believe he has successfully survived the "Curse of the Child Actor".

Hugo Weaving movie I like: The Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring. It's good, not nearly as good as the book, but still a good interpretation of it.
Hugo Weaving I hate: The Legend of the Guadians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. I have not seen this, but I hate it, and I hate the fact that he was in it.
Honorable Mentions: V for Vendetta. As a movie it is good, but if you compare it to what Alan Moore did, it's just disappointing. Even though I try to forget they exist, the sequals to the Matrix do exist. He's in the Transformer movies, but I think they're kind of "meh".

I was lugged Arnold Schwarzenegger, and yes I copied and pasted his last name.

Arnold Schwarzenegger movie I love: Terminator 2 - He was just bad ass in this movie as a cyborg protector of past John Connor. One of my first forays into R rated films.
Arnold Schwarzenegger movie I like: Predator - He hunted the predator and killed him, it was an excellent movie also. And as always, he was bad ass.
Arnold Schwarzenegger movie I hate: Jingle All The Way - Why would he be in a kid's film? Why do all of these bad asses feel the need to get kiddie after making such good manly films? This movie was turdstool.
Honorable Mentions: Total Recall, Conan the barbarian - These and Predator too could be in the movies I love category because I do. He was in so many great action films. Kindergarten Cop also, because it's one of the only family movies he did that works and has so many quotable moments because of his retarded accent.

Clint Howard movie I liked: Gung Ho. Underappreciated Michael Keaton movie from the mid 80s. Good stuff and a strong comedic cast.
Clint Howard movie I Hated: Addams Family Reunion. Like there needed to be more of these?

James Cagney movie I liked: Yankee Doodle Dandy--J.C. couldn't sing, but boy could he act.
James Cagney movie I hated: The Oklahoma Kid--Like I said before, even great actors can't necessarily do westerns.
