I'm looking for something that makes a clicking sound that is also either pretty enough, inconspicuous, or basic enough to use in a piece of jewelry. Similar to the click sound you get from a dog clicker.

I used to have a metal frog that made clicky noises a very long time ago. It was very small - certainly enough to be some sort of pendant. Like these (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3872.m570.l1313&_nkw=frog+clicker&_sacat=See-All-Categories) but smaller.

I bet if you went to goodwill stores, flea markets, and yard sales you could find dirt cheap copies of the Jeopardy Home Game, I know at least the older copies of the game had exactly the sort of thing you described in them (3 or 4 per copy)
