My friend was a bridesmaid this weekend and during the ceremony, one of the guests died. But they carried on with the ceremony anyway. Just put the body at the back until they were done.

There was actually a wedding (in India I believe) in this building that hadn't had a safety inspection in far too long. Long story short, all of the wedding guests are dancing on the floor after the ceremony and the floor caves in and all of the guests (children included) fall to their death. I saw a video of it and it was honestly the saddest thing I've ever seen in my life. It was just horrible. I can't even imagine being one of the few survivors... seeing practically all of your friends and family die in an instant like that.

Actually, it happened in Israel. I saw the video as well. It was shocking, to say the least. Both the bride and the groom died that night.

Are you sure it resulted in deaths? Because I recall seeing something along the lines of that story, but I don't remember any mention of mass death. I might be mistaken though.

Getting a little back on track, how the hell can you carry out a wedding after a guest just died?

I saw that same video and I remember reading that only one guest died of a heart attack, several were seriously wounded though....I could be wrong, though.
