i got to spend the wee hours running around Wal-Mart's corporate headquarters doing part of their XP rollout. i had about 3 hours i could have spent posting on the board like at my old job back in the day, but there's this pesky firewall...
anyway the place is a giant rat-maze and afterhours it is just kinda spooky with hardly anyone there. and some old security guard knew more about hardware specs than any of us.
it was a fun day, er... night. :)

I wish my job was as fun, all we did tonight is listen to the same damn song over and over again and watched The Usual Suspects for the 87th time, no one came except at 12, and they got My Best Friend's Wedding :(

My previous job: walk around a warehouse making sure there's no leaks and no damaged products, while chatting with my friend.

I've done commutes like that for over a year... it sucks ass, but you get used to it. You also get used to wishing for a brutal car accident to deliver you a swift death, thus bringing you the peace you've desired for so long.

i'm lucky, my commute is only 45 minutes, but after a twelve hour shift with the sun coming up it's more like a 45 minute nap :P

I use commuter rail and my trip, the only two half hours I can legitimately call my own, are spent pleasantly contemplating killing each and every one of you.
