Yes there is. You use one whistle and to get to the warp, and while at the warp you use the other one. It takes you to the 8th one. But he does cheat. >:

It had to start hitting the actual HEAD to do damage.

Good point, but as you can see with Cap'n Crunch's pic (http://www.angelfire.com/comics/babycrusher/images/cheat.gif) the wrench is under the hat line and just touches the top of the ear.

His fatal flaw was turning into firball mario in level 2 in Zone 8, he could of passed it faster with racoon mario.

Well it was obviously done with an emulator and with my experiance most emulators let you save where ever and load with the push of a button. Maybe there was some tricky editing. Even so, the way he jumped on 50 guys in a row is amazing by its self.

I watched this today also, and I was just shocked... I wish I could have played like that :( , and I was going to post this video too but oh well. It does look like it hit him, but who knows.

ONE thing he could have done (if he had cheated) is use an emulator to lower the framerate to say, 5 fps, then after he goes through the game at a reduced speed (which would be easier) he could speed up the video footage. it would be akward but it is a way you could cheat through the game.

Yeah he coulda done that, that would explain his presicion. But you got to remember, mario's speed would have also gone down, making the game/mario speed ratio the same. So regardless of his reactions mario's speed would still be slow, not always being able to escape from an attack.

yeah, but the slowed down speed would allow for better reaction time, like bullet time in many games (the latest trend!)

With my nes emulator there is a turbo-like button and you can shoot 2 fireballs at once

Also, on closer inspection one of the wrenches goe straight through the middle of his body.The 2nd wrench throwing guy mario sees, throws one at him, on the level just after he does the warp cheat
