Silent Night Deadly Night is the only true bad Santa film. :hat The Santa rapes the kid's mom and kills his parents, then the kids live in an orphanige. When he grows up they make him be Santa for a store job and he kills them all because he thinks naughty people should be killed.

Have you seen the sequels? The third has nothing to do with Santa or Christmas. And the second (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/silentnightii/index.html) is mainly just flashbacks to the first.

How was Bad Santa bad, Rongi? Please elaborate, because I've heard from many people that I respect that it was suprisingly great (despite the commercials which make it look pretty lame), and the fact that the Coen Brothers came up with the story and Terry Zwigoff (who hasn't made a bad movie... yet) directed it had me really wanting to see it. "Worst movie this year." Isn't going to cut it as a movie review.

Ignore Rongi, Jixby. We saw it the other day and there were quite a few moments where everybody in the theater was laughing pretty hard. It's not the greatest movie, but it does provide some laughs. Plus, we had the added amusement of seeing an old lady leave the theatre. She was apparently shocked at how vulgar Bad Santa really was. I guess she was expecting a "nicer" holiday comedy.

All in all, I'd say it's worth seeing at least once... whether you see it in the theater or on video.

There is a speech from Santa about a life changing event that is alone worth seeing the movie for

Maybe I was a little too hard on the movie. I thought it was terrible. Some parts where pretty funny, but not really funny enough to be memorable. And it was nice to see John Ritter ( RIP :( ) again but other parts seemed like they where trying too much to make the movie vulgar. Like the scene where Bernie Mac takes laxitives.

I have it. >: It's awesome. >: The second one is good too cause he kills the guy in the movies for talking. It's hilarious.

I finally saw Bad Santa and it was fucking awesome! I love this film. If any of you have a really dark sense of humour this is your movie! I was laughing so hard I was crying during some of the scenes.

Why is Bernie Mac so, to use some of you younguns' lingo, 'the bomb' now a days? He's not funny. At all.

This movie is one of the funniest I have ever seen. Santa chugs down more vodka bottles than I can count. Billy Bob makes this film work.

The trailers made it look like shit because they cut out all the good stuff.

See it while it's out.

Fifty. Fifty.

My dad's been wanting to see this for a while and we finally went today. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. That is to say, it was okay.

*SPOILER:

I still don't get why the midget turned heel.

Because Billy Bob was getting rusty and the midget could always just get another santa.

Yeah, but a safe-cracking Santa? I've been looking for one for years, with no luck at all.

Just find a safe-cracker and put him in the suit. He doesn't have to be a real Santa, silly!
