I've been going Nazi on it, in case you haven't noticed. I won't read anything about it or the games, I won't look at pictures, and I change the channel when a commercial comes on. I never read the books, so I'm really looking forward to being surprised by everything in the movie, and learning about the story for the very first time.

So yeah, I'll probably piss myself when I finally see it. But I don't like crowded theatres, so I won't see it until late Janurary.

It be good if Peter Jackson wasn't fuckign the movie up and completely taking Saurman out of the third movie and having us assume he died in the second. Way to make an entirely new death for a character and not even show it. Good job Peter Jackson. Read the books.

I did enjoy the first 2 movies thou and that this one is good despite the moronic move of Peter Jackson.

By the way, when is the exact day of the movie's release? I was pretty sure it was early December.

December 17th. I can't fucking wait. I've been listening to the soundtrack a lot, and I have to say it's my favorite of the three.

I wanted to go to the midnight show, but the tickets sold out before I even knew they had gone on sale. Ahh well. :(

mid december 2004 is going to be very depressing, since there will be no new lord of the rings movie, unless they release the entire uncut trilogy in cinemas (its only 12 hours!)

So far this movie has a metacritic rating of 100. Granted, it's only been 5 reviews but still. A very promising start! The only film to have actually scored 100 after all the reviews were in was The Godfather.
