where to start. hrm.
freezing rain kept my son home from school today. yay.
we moved into a new place last week that's in the country, where our puppy can run free, getting back to her beagle roots. (she's half chow, too, oddly enough.) little by little, i'm getting things rearranged. cleaning and unpacking. yuck.
since summer, i've been singing with my band two nights a week and doing open mic nights with the guitar player two nights a week. i've no other job right now, aside from the occasional layout/design project, so i haven't been able to afford the internet. :( (i got the free aol trial with my new addy. tehee.)
after the first of the year, we're gonna work on playing out of town at least one weekend a month, probably starting in richmond, since the bass player lives there. and no, proto, i haven't been up to visit yet. :P
so yah. i'm back.

Sadie, do you have any songs hosted on the net anywhere? I was always interested to know what kind of stuff you do. The only thing I can imagine you singing would be something like "I before E except after C" or something equally drab and drilling.
I realize I'll be asked to go to the Music Discussion threads or else instructed to go to hell. Anyway I was just curious. I'm in several bands myself and I know nobody gives a shit. It's funny how if you try to turn people on to music you've created here, it's spam. But if you splatter some shit with Paintbrush or scan your notebook cover, it has a receptive response in the "Art Shit". What a bunch of puds.

thanks, proto. :) very soon! we went up to richmond saturday night around midnight to take some promo information so our bass player can get us some gigs there. it was a last minute thing, and we were up till about six in the morning and left by noon since we had an open mic last night here. when we first got in town, we went to a cool ale bar downtown somewhere (i'm hazy on the name. heh) that had a frozen strip down the bar to keep the drinks cold. i'd never seen one of those. next time, we'll stay longer and i'll get to hang with ya. ;)

slavemason, i had some music online, but the "friend" who was hosting my shit trashed it earlier this year. some songs are on mp3.com, but i've heard they're being shut down. the band i'm in now is in the process of recording a demo, so i should have some music to spam very soon.
