View Full Version : Think you know your old NES games?

If you DO know your NES history, you can help me. I'm trying to figure out the name of a game. I used to play it at my babysitter's house. I'll tell you everything i can remember about it...

You could have two player teams, and you tried to make your way through the level. I remember one level had boxes that you stepped into that would warp you to another area of the screen. I also remember that when the time got low, an alarm or something would be going off untill the time ran out. The view was a top view, not a side view.

That's really all i can remember :/ I know SOMEone has to know what I'm talking about, right?

It reminds me of one of the LoLo games, but that can't be it, can it? You don't use two players in those?

i see your trying to help. i looked at those games and it wasn't those. there was one thing i left out, not much help, but it had a serious feel to it. nothing really goofy (like LoLO :-). i'm really beating my head against a wall on this one.

I immediately thought Gauntlet too but there's no time or alarm in it, unless you're considering 'health' as the time and "Warrior is about to die" as the alarm. :/

Was there anything peculiar about the cartridge? Was it black and differently shaped, or gold like the Zelda games, or was it a regular grey casing, if you can remember?

as soon as soundtest said "warrior is about to die" i knew it was it. that is was i was reamembering as the alarm. wow i can sleep now.
