does anyone remember these action figures...

...that were like robot suits, and they came with a 2.5 inch (i think) gi joe style figure to go inside the suit? i'm pretty sure there was a short-lived space cartoon from which they spawned. i'm not talking about mechwarriors. these were more like a suit that went around the figure, not a robot that the figure went inside of. i think they came out somewhere between 1992-1995.

these used to be my favorite toys easily, but they all broke over time. i'm asking because i saw them in a toy store a little while ago under a different name. same molds, but different name and much less exciting colors and packaging. i went back to buy one and now they're gone.

i have to use my money on food and rent and shit, so i hope to god someone here remembers what i'm talking about so i can get these for christmas. thanks.

yeah that show rocked. I still have my Bronski which was the dopest E-Frame ever, with his ultra fly gatling gun rocket launcher. Phaetons was always the hardest to find in the stores, all they ever had was the big dumb yellow E-Frame that looked like a loader from Aliens.

I miss the cartoon. :)
