That's right, friends and neighbors. The Witch City got three feet of snow. The National guard was out this morning helping truck out the snow, something I haven't seen in my home state since 1978.


Me? I'm at work. That's the kind of guy I am. There's only one other person from my department here so far.

As for the show I'm supposed to do tonight, a third of it never made it back from the west coast where they were for Museum Business. I guess I'll be doing a lot of filling.

I am too old for fun. A huge snow storm for me means hours of backbreaking shoveling so I can get to work and squeeze my crushed dreams for a little more green.

When my children are a little older, I will teach them and in a foolhardy attempt to recapture my childhood break an ankle and freeze to death less than a mile out on a pre-cut trail.
