Well in the seemingly near future they are coming out with several movies based on comic books, here are a few that I can think of.
Hellboy

The Punisher

On top of that they are completeing the trilogy to Blade that they were thinking about. No site yet that I know of.

The Fantastic Four are having another shot at movie stardom, after the failed 1990's attempt that is.

Does any one but me think that all the comic movies are going to burn out the genre so to speak? I can see it getting down to a few movies with huge budgets and shitty scripts. Like throwing money at a dead armadillo on the road or something equally pointless.
What do you people think?

...ok I was going to let that one go. Ben Affleck sucks anyway and the movie was no exception.

But seeming how we are on the subject...I will throw "Hulk" into the sucks pile as well. Also the TV show, I didn't care for that much either.

Along with all the 70's "Spiderman" movies and show at that.

Yeah it had Lou Gossett Jr and Dolph Lundgren and it sucked so hard a taiwanese whore would be jealous.

The special effects were superb, but I didn't like how the actual story played out.

If anything, I felt that the story was the strong point of Hulk and the special effects were the weak link.

I think there are going to be some great comic movies coming out in the next year or two. Spiderman 2 looks fantastic, as does Hellboy. And Punisher looks better than I was hoping it might, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. X3 is also bound to kick ass after the excellent 2nd movie, and the Wolverine movie should also be pretty damned cool too.

Damn, I would have much rather seen that. Maybe the trailer doesn't do it justice but good god damn this movie looks like a peice of shit from what I've seen :(
