Anyone played this game yet? I bought it a while ago and its quite good. If someone doesnt know this is sort of a non-violent version of GTA3. With Simpsons!
Well, there is some violence. For example you can kick people around or drive over them. They fall down, but wont die.
The best thing about this game is the handling of the cars. And the humor, of course. The bad thing is that the game doesnt have much replay value. beat the game once and thats that.
In my opinion the game is worth buying, or rental at least. :/

I read a few reviews on it, it's suppose to be the best simpsons game yet. :o I haven't played it yet, though. I might go rent it after the holidays!

If Simpson's Hit and Run can make it to the Platnium Hits for X-box I'm sure Hit and Run will also and thats when I'll scoop dat shit up.

I've played it, and I agree that it is the best Simpsons game out there, but just look at its competition for that spot: Simpsons Road Rage, Simpsons Wrestling, Bart's Nightmare, et al.

Gameplay is just a dumbed-down version of GTA.

I thought it was ok. My biggest beef was the overabundance of voice clips. Famous quotes from the show are reshaped to fit into situations where they hardly sound appropriate, and the whole game is filled with what can only be described as "new Simpsons humor," like grandpa declaring that he wants to pour blood on pancakes, and Bart shouting, "ow, my ovaries."

In the end, purely mediocre. If you're a fan, though, I suppose a rental wouldn't hurt.

I like simpsons wrestling a lot, simply because I figured out an unbeatable cheat with Willie the first time I played it.

Yeah, the game is good, but like Boogie said. It's only a dummed down version of GTA. It's still worth, maybe 25 bucks if you have the spare change. But I don't think it's worth the full price.

Simpsons Arcade game is the best Simpsons game ever by far. Just like the TMNT arcade game. God, I wish they would release those for GameCube or something. It would be so nice to play 4-player versions of those in the comfort of one's home.

The same simpsons game has been in the same place for quite a few years now, and when I played it today bart's control stick wasn't working right. This made me think "I wouldn't have this problem with my own controller." Yeah, that simpsons game for gamecube would be great.

They only ever released a crappy PC version of the Simpsons arcade game. I've been playing the original on MAME.

I'd dig it if they updated it by adding more characters and moves. Make a few things unlockable and put it out to all the game systems. Bring back the sidescrollers of yesteryear!
