Just saw the final part of this which is (apparantly) the last ever episode, and it's a bit of a jip, I always thought David Brent would kill himself in the last one.
Meh still ok though, but a little too sentimental for comedy really.

The boxing day episode was alot better, but it was a fitting way to end it, I guess.

If he killed himself that would sort of defeat the purpose of the character. He is a master of denail, and obviously in love with himself. You must have missed the point of the character if you think his self-worth would be that low.
