Your name seems vaguely familiar. You posted on the old boards, I take it?

ahhh...glowbelly, my arch nemesis. how are you and your britsh man doing these days? does he still post? my "impotent" husband and i are doing just fine. you'll be happy to know that we're no longer living in the "cardboard cutout" of a house in pennsylvania anymore. we sold it to some single douchebag so we could move to new york...where we're living in yet another cardboard cutout habitat. other than that...life, well, it's freakin' hunkey dorey.

these new boards have a little too much "flash" for me.

then why does your location still say pennsylvania?

the brit still posts, but he left me a wee bit broken hearted. i recovered, after a spell, and have found myself a young strapping italian man who works his ass off for me so i can go to school and pursue my dream of becoming a photographer.

it's all good, really. i am still friends with sam and i'm probably the happiest i've been in a long time.

i'm about to buy my own cardboard cutout soon. i'll post a pic of it when it becomes final and you can make fun of me living in a ghetto. ;)

I have to be honest with you: Glowbelly's candidness makes me feel a little uncomfortable.

glow...you in a cookie cutter home...that strikes me as a bit odd. whatever happened to your move to philly?

it got sidelined.

i met bri. shortly thereafter i had a scheduled trip to philly to sort things out with my cousin, who i was going to live with AND to go to my uncle's surpise 60th birthday party. bri knew that i was planning on moving to philly. he did everything in his power the day my plane took off for my visit to make me miss my flight >: but luckily when i got to the airport, the flight was delayed an hour.

anyways, i go to philly to realize that my cousin is not someone i really want to live with. let's just say his lifestyle wasn't coinciding with the goals that i wanted to accomplish in the next year. ya know, he's a bachelor and he's way into the bachelor/bar scene among other things.

i came home. bri told me that his friend had a house that they were remodeling that wasn't in the best of neighborhoods, but could provide a very cheap place to live. i asked him if he was asking me to move in with him. he grinned. i said yes. the rest is history.

i've all but quit drinking. i'm back in school full time. i'm finally doing what i have wanted to do for quite some time and i feel great.

as for the cookie cutter home, i'm really just trying to make you feel better. :P we're actually looking at purchasing a home in the city. something relatively inexpensive, but with loads of potential. bri is a carpenter. he wants to buid me a darkroom. who am i to stop him?

:eek it's funny what a year can do to a person. wow. a dark room, an italian...next you'll tell me you have the crown jewels and you get to wear a crown to school every day!

i, on the otherhand, wished i was still in philly. i hate new york and it creeps me out being back here. everywhere i turn i run into someone i knew growing up. the fact that as i'm picking out tampons in the grocery store...and some freak i graduated with could run into me...OH THE HORROR!

and then, to only confirm the NY move a big mistake...last night we had to put our cat down because of renal failure. so, my "garish" days are coming to and end...reality has smacked me in the face with the most rancid of pies.
