I seriously applaud your sticking to your guns. We both know I agree with you about almost nothing, but I think it shows character that you see beyond football politics and realize this guy doesn't represent your interests. I felt much the same way about Clinton.

I wouldn't worry about the space program though. I don't think he intends for that to go even as far as the paltry amount he said he wants for it, which would do absolutely zero in terms of space exploration. It's election year posturing, and badly planned at that.

The Mexican thing though, I'm pretty certain he means. I don't think he thinks it will actually cost him any votes even though a lot of conservatives will hate it, and Karl Rove is pretty much convinced they need to court the hispanic vote.

I'm in favor of a more liberal immigration policy, but when you give people amnesty you ought to have the spine to call it amnesty.

Why do you think no one truly conservative is running against W? Not with the intent of winning, but as a method of forcing him to adress the conservative agenda? I think Goldwater must be rotating at near light speed in his grave.

It makes me nervous.
I'm thinking that Bush will fool his way to a reelection with these kind of pranks. Then he will have a huge drafting pool of poor uneducated fucks that will do anything to stay out of prison.
Maybe I'm drunk and paranoid.
When Michael Savage goes to ragging on Dubya, you have to pinch yourself.

"This is much more serious than dropping your pants for an intern," said Savage. "This is a policy that represents a danger to national security."
HOLY SHIT, he must have fucked up this time.

Although I'm thinking of it only in the most romantic sense, I approve of Bush's stance on space exploration. I've not been paying attention to politics for the past few months (I'm too busy living it up before the Army comes a-callin') so it's entirely possible that these plans are completely outlandish.

I haven't heard anything about an open border with Mexico, but any of the veterans of the political board should know my stance on immigration. Would someone care to enlighten me as to what's going on?

Look, most people who talk shit about Bush are ten times worse.

The complaints I have are that he JUST TRYING TO BUY VOTES AND USING OUR TAX DOLLARS TO DO IT!!!!

Gore would have been worse with a democratic house and senate. The problem is, Conservatives put the guy in office and he's not promoting Conservative policies.

....and some of these things he's promoting is a bad reflection on me.

THAT'S WHY I VOTED FOR ALAN KEYES IN THE REPUPLICAN PRIMARY.

Nald's, I'm not saying I think you've become democrat, I'm just applauding you for drawing a line. Remember when I used to rag you about not cjhoosing between what you believe and what W. does even when I thought there were direct contradictions? Well, now you are, and wether I agree with the reason or not is immaterial. I applaud your principle.

Eye Tie, like I said, I'm totally for space exploration, but I think this is just chin music. Do you know W just proposed to spend more money promoting traditional marriage in the next year than he suggested for Nasa over the next five years? How much more transparent can this ridiculous wasteful pandering be?

I don't agree that there were contradictions at that time....

Thanks though for the kind words.
