I only saw one episode, and can't remember any of it. :( Is it funny?

YES >:
But 120 is not worth it to me...at least not yet. :o
I bought Paul Feig's "Kick Me" book. It's great. :(

I remember the first episode being pretty funny. But that's the only one I ever saw. :(

Remember that one show, where it was about an all-girls school that switched to allowing boys and girls, and these three guys were the first ones to attend it? And all the girls either hated them, or wanted the fuck out of them? That was a good show, but it only lasted for a season, if that.

Umm, that's not the show. I have no idea what that show was, but it sounds like the movie Strike. Freaks and Geeks is about a small town High School in the late 70s early 80s. It's also the best show ever. >:

$135 for an 18-episode DVD set.
I'm sorry, ut that's too much. :/

Personally, I can't really justify that kind of money on such a small collection. Each episode is only 30 minutes long, and like Solid said, there's only 18 episodes.
Plenty of other shows have released DVDs with more and longer episodes for a quarter of that price. >:
I'll just wait for him to buy it and watch it at his house. :)

Every episode was 45 minutes long (without commercials).
It costs a lot because theres two disks of extras and it cost them a lot of money to clear all the music.
Another not-so-special edition will be released. This is just for fans. It will be cheaper.

Yeah, it's also 8 DVDs, with tons of features. I probably won't buy it, due to the cost, but I do understand why it's so expensive. I wonder how "special" or "limited" this set is though; if it said they only made a 1000 or something I'd definitely buy it, because you can always sell it later on.

It was pretty funny, but why would anyone want to watch it more than once?

That's my problem with it. It's really funny, well-written and the actors do a great job, but I can't picture myself watching it more than once.

I'd watch it a lot. :( I love that show.

I've watched the whole series many times. As soon as I heard that DVDs would probably come out, I stopped watching my tapes of it (which are kinda shity, they are bootlegs from the broadcast masters and have all the original music and shit, some of them are workprints of the episode and don't have closing titles). I can't wait to sit down and watch them again. It might be my favorite show, ever.

Yeah, but... You remember the show I'm talking about? Because I do.
Or what about Oliver Bean? Or Beene? Or Beane? I don't know, something like that. You remember that show? What about The Pitts? I think the girl who was in that show ended up dying for real. :(

The set in question is EIGHT disks, 15 bucks per disk. So if 120 bucks is too much for you, don't worry.
I, for one, will be buying the 8 disk set.
