hmm, very strange. They should keep focus where the gold is, the GBA. I don't know about this dual screen idea....

I think it is a great idea! I mean personally I like it when game comapnies release totally ridiculous hardware. They should do it more often.

Actally having 2 screens is not such a bad idea. but it would make more sense if they could implement the option on a home console, Giving 2 players each their own tv to look at with just using one console would be awesome.

Come on guys, this is the best idea since the Virtual Boy! :lol

Seriously...this thing will probably be a nightmare for developers who will then ignore it and just keep making GBA games.

That's retarded. They should just come out with a handheld 64 or something.

I love it when companies make crap. It's cheap to collect in the future. :o

This is a terrible idea. But, James I have a feeling you're saying that the SP is shitty. Tell me I'm wrong.

I'm still bitter that I was suckered into buying a GBA 5 months before the GBA SP was announced. The SP is great, but I'll be fucking damned if I'm going to spent another $100.

Besides, 9 out of 10 of the games for it belong in the garbage.

Well, at least you don't hate it :/

Virtual Boy was fun. Except it had like ten games, couldn't be played in a car, and munched batteries like nothing.

I got one for my birthday in like 8th grade (plus I had to pitch in $70).

I traded it two years later for $20 and Illusion of Gaia. :(

What? Silent Scope for the Gamecube?!? Turn the screen upside down, stick it inside a Modified Superscope, you look through and see the GBA, wow! Plug into the Gamecube, and have Sniper Fun in your own living room!!! 2 different designes, for the GBA SP and Norm.

I would buy it...

Nintendo makes bad business decision after bad business decsion, and they're filthy rich...

Sega makes one of my favorite consoles of all time, way ahead of its time, and they drop out of the console wars altogether...

It's a beautiful world we live in.

I'll just download the emulator.

You are a fool if you think sega didnt make some crazy stupid business decisions. much more so than nintendo.

Sega WAS ahead of its time, for sure. Sega CD, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Game Gear. They had a lot of products with some great ideas behind them, but the other companies just did the same things a lot better later on.

That's not to say all the products were great, though.

I'm sure Sega, one day, will go back into the console wars and develop another amazing console, which will most likely be overshadowed by Playstation 150132

Fuck, some of the graphics on games on Dreamcast match up with current PS2 games. If only it had better promotion and a better controller design. :(

Drev, I think that's what the GBA is supposed to be--GB was a portable NES, GBA is supposed to be a portable SNES

So what's next is N64. How the fuck are they gonna do that :(

I understand what you're saying, but what I ment was a hanheld that played SNES cartridges. It would be a bit bulky though. :(

I remember when I was going to get my first 32-bit system and the store clerk begged me to not get a Sega Saturn, and to get a Playstation instead. I picked up a magazine at a supermarket and played Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game at Best Buy and ended up getting a Playstation instead of the Saturn. :<

Thank god :<
