in regards to a specific piece?
i liked his technique and his reasoning behind the technique. the paintings really seem like an extension of himself, rather than something that is observed by an outside viewer.

I like his color choice in all of his pieces.
The meaning behind the art is not so relevant to me as the art itself is. I tend to view the meaning as a means, and the piece as the end. This is why it's odd that I like abstract expressionism.

i wasn't sure if his response was some kind of joke or not.
what i do know is that it is one of the vaguest conversations i've ever had on jackson pollack. i like his color choices? ooooook. good for you!
