I'm gonna read it tommorrow. The art looks good but pretty different looking than any comic book art I've ever seen, meaning it looks absolutely brilliant

V is kinda hit-n-miss. I like it, but I know a lot of people who don't. You better do some research on Guy Fawkes and the burning of the Guy tradition before reading it, though. Unless you know about it already.

I wad kinda woundering why the main character looked familiar...

Guy Fawkes was the guy who tried to blow up the parliament, right? And every night on that same night people in england set off fire crackers and bon fires in recognition in his actions, and most don't know if they're celebrating the fact that he tried to blow up parliament or that he failed.

I think they celebrate that he failed. Because they make life-size puppets to represent him and burn them :(

V For Vendetta is fucking brilliant. Not as good as Watchmen, but still an amazing story.

Which is not as good as Starman, but still amazing.

I just finished it yesterday

Brilliant story development and symbolisim. And I like how they don't tell you who is behind the mask, because really if you obsess over who is behind the mask you're missing the entire point of the story.

YES. Most people who don't like it complain about that. The point is that everyone could have been V. V serves a function, who he is has no relevance.
