I was just screwing around. Won't be finishing the neopolotin, but I will expand on the fish.

"Neopolotin" or "Frog Man" was made while practicing with my new pen toy. I hated it so I cut it off there.

"Fish" was drawn later the same day as "Frog Man." It wasn't meant a practice. Isn't that good yet, but after I get some advice on some colors (from trusted councel) I will make it nice and pretty. In the mean time I may just make it larger.

I drew these in flash. These were before the photoshop images. Just to fool around with.

Everyone has the opposite opinion over my work than me. I was almost ashamed of the frog, while beaming with pride over my fish. I guess it was perspective while creating them. I made the frog angry since it didn't look like I wished, but the fish did exactly what I intended.

As for your obscene request Hickman: there is no way you are going to get me to draw the frog man fucking the fish.

i think the fish looks awesome because i can't really tell if its floating just beneath the water or floating on top like its dead and the eye has really nice shading in it :)

Thank you, but that isn't supposed to be shading on his eye. It is glowing in his eye. If you look close, it is supposed to be like a solid clear eye that the light hits the back off and fades away quickly with the density of the eye.

The fish is actually much more detailed and has much better shading. Like good artists say, when the shading is good, you don't notice. If they stand out then you did them wrong.

The fish is very impressive. The curves on its fins are very accurate. I don't know about too many of them ending hair-like though. I also like the second man's mouth.

it's a good thing your sig isn't too big or it would distract from post s >:

ROOKIE, I made up the fish. No fish that long has that much flowing fin. Usually they are on stubbier fish.
They aren't hairs, they are just extentions of the fin. Fish don't have hair.
And did yo mention I made it up? I can make it however I want. The fins aren't very "accurate" by the way (they are terribly oversized at the ends). But I am my own worst critic, so anything is possible.

When I wrote about accurate curves I was thinking about the lines' relationship. When I wrote about too many fins ending hair-like I meant it's a little redundant or overdone. I wasn't suggesting the fish is real.

You're right, I should put in more "hairs" like I was originally planning.

is the fish lying on its side like its dead?

I see, you'll go far with that attitude.
