Warcraft 3 Question

Hey, this is a really stupid question but I haven't played the game in a long time and I've hardly played it at all multiplayer.

This Sunday I'm going to be playing WC3 with some friends of mine, but they don't have the expansion and I do. Do I need to uninstall the expansion to be able to play them or if I just put in my WC3 disc and run off that will it consider me to have the same version of the core game as them?

You should have two icons for WC3 now: The original and the expansion. You can play the original in multiplayer using either disc. You don't need to uninstall the expansion or use the original disc.

but you do all need the same version. so you guys might wanna get the ;atest patches from blizzard.

I figured they'd be playing on Battle.Net anyway, so they would all have the same versions.
