I am in need of a movie series whose part 2 was just as good or better than it's part 1.

More specifically, a series of movies that only had 2 in the series. No part 3.

Example: Gremlins and Gremlins 2. There were only 2 of them, and the second one was better than the first.

It's for a hilarious joke that I'm writing.
