Now realize- that's our PRESIDENT. As much as I'd like to, I just can't believe he's presenting himself as an example of why his No Child Left Behind Act is so needed. Clinton may have been a philandering prick, but at least he could conjugate verbs.

I read it, and I saw the error. He has fucked up simple sentences countless times. This is not news. You're right about how scary it is that a guy who can't properly conjugate verbs is the president of Corporation America. The subject is "illiteracy level" and the verb is "are" when it should have been "is". Not a particularly difficult error to spot and not particularly suprising that he would make such an error.

If Nasa folk really think W. is taking the back to the moon, that's sad. That was a wee little public relations test balloon. It didn't fly, it didn't show up in the state of the union and steroids did. The Moon/Mars thing is already over, and the only way you'll ever hear about it again is if Dems bash W about or people make fun of it on TV.
