Completely aside from whatever thoughts you may have about the current administration, is there anyone aside from me who is annoyed by the media's insistence on referring to the president as, "the most powerful man in the world"?

It seems contrary to the founding principles of our country and government.

Are there any other opinions on this?

it only annoys me cuz i'm pretty sure he just does what he's told. he's clearly not intelligent enough to come up with any course of action on his own.

I'm not even talking about Bush so much as american media feeling the need to point out to that our president is "THE MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD!!!"

" Ol' Dickhead" has a nice ring to it. :/

The "Ol" sounds a lot more natural in an historical context.

"he's clearly not intelligent enough to come up with any course of action on his own."

Yeah....he's only got a degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard.......he also scored higher on his SAT than Gore.....so be thankful.

Yeah, because he got into Yale on his own accord. It had nothing to do with his Dad's influence and he didn't flunk out of law school after......
