on valentine's day when bri and i were getting ready to go eat din din, his sister called. :( family emergency...baby sick and needs to go to the hospital, could we please watch the other 3 children?

we break our plans.

two hours later the 2 oldest children are puking and shitting their brains out. we are relieved by bri's dad, who automatically irritates brian so much that we get home and he's not in the best mood.

now it's sunday. bri's sick. his dad calls him and says he's sick and needs to go home so bri's back on his way over to take care of the kids. i yell at him, we get into a little spat, but it's alright cause his sister comes home with the baby like 5 minutes after he gets there.

now bri's at home and he's really sick. he's sleepin on the couch and someone is BANGING on the door. i run downstairs, open the door and some gal is standing there. i say "yeeessss?" and she says "is brian home?" "yesss?" "are you karen?" "yesssss?" "i'm jessica." click click click, bri's ex girlfriend. >:

i run upstairs, tell brian if he doesn't go handle that situation i will and it won't be pretty.

then i get sick. really sick. like, 6-year-old first time with the stomach flu ever sick.

what's good about this is that you really learn just how much you are willing to do for someone when they are crazy sick. bri and i puked in unison, in the same room, in our separate buckets and he cleaned out my puke bucket at least 7 times last night. i'd go into other specifics, but bri would kill me. it's just nice knowing that i have someone here who is going to take care of me no matter what, even when i have puke dripping out of my nose.

THAT SOUND GREAT!!!

You can comfort yourself by knowing that seeing as how contageous this flu obviously is, the ex girlfriend is certainly puking right now.

okay. i meant the someone-to-take-care-of-you, not the puking-your-brains-out. :(

That's kind of scary. Don't flus take 3 days to incubate before you start puking?

i feel much better than yesterday. i can pee again, which is saying a LOT considering that all fluids were leaving my body by other means up until this afternoon.

The T-Virus was unleashed at Katsucon last weekend. Fire department and all came out to evacuate the building on a biohazard thing. People were projectile vomiting and stuff. Word is it came from the water at the 'rave.'

Influenza (the flu) is a respiratory disease that does not cause vomiting under any circumstances. The "stomach flu" can be one of a few different illnesses, usually food poisoning (but not in this case, if it was as contagious as glowbelly said), that may or may not start doing bad things immediately.

I am so sorry to hear about your weekend. It sounds like the "weekend from hell."

Please go easy on eating solids for a bit unless your not having any trouble. And get lots of rest too.

Take care of YOU! :)

Cordelia spent much of last night vomitting. She took it in stride, reporting
"That last part was drool, not puke."

The night before that I had a headache so bad if we'd had anyone to look after the kids I'd have gone to the emergency room.

In between I had great Indian food and went to see "Big Fish" with the wife. So my weekend was mixed.

bri was amazing with the kids when they were all sick and stuff. i was put in charge of his "problem" nephew, who is a bit of a handful, while brian cleaned up after the other two. he gave them each a pail and told them that it was their best friend and that they must take it with them wherever they went for the night because he would rather clean a pail out a thousand times over than have to clean puke off of the dog again.

he also calmed the kids down when they were pukin. telling them to relax and just get it all out, that everything would be better tomorrow and all that.

he's gonna make a great daddy. :(

Those would be the qualities you need. No sympathetic vomitters need apply.

Well hope you get better glowbelly, I can't control kids either, I had to watch my sister's kid, and he started a fire in the living room, i had to pay for the charred curtains.

Another coincidence, my girlfriend's name is Jessica. :eek

you misunderstood. i was in charge of the problem child, while the other two were pukin. he's not so much a problem child as he is extremely funny.

he farted in my lap :(

he farted in my lap :(

Well, that sounds like a rite of passage to manhood to me.

Next thing will be his voice going down a notch. Just a matter of time now.... :)
