So where do you work? Blah blah blah...

I'll get the ball rolling: I'm a proud employee at the Yolo County Library where I shelve the books and such. I know, I rock.

I sell televisions, DVD players, computeres and stuff, but I'm really an actor.

No wait, I'm really a student.

I'm a freelance musician, a guitarist in a cover band, manager of the Augsburg College Jazz Band, a sound tech for the campus recording studio and various live events, and as of this weekend the trombone player in the band at Camp Snoopy, Mall of America.

I have three steady gigs, five sources of income, and no boss to report to. :picklehat

I'm also really damn busy and have thousands of dollars in debt to pay off to the school and to my parents. :(

I work in a call center, doing T1 tech support. It is perhaps the worst job in the entire world.

But I'm going to school to become a cop.

I am the technical director for a college radio station, so I do sound for bands and install and fix gear and all. I also do live sound gigs for the university performances and for bands and stuff in town.

I help the baboons pick lice off each other.

I was once involved with a woman who liked to pop the zits on my shoulders and "groom" me in a variety of other ways. It all sounds like I was living the life of luxury but, actually, it was very creepy and annoying ... and a little too monkey-like for my taste.

I run I-Mockery.com (no really?) and I also work as a Web Developer/Designer whenever I can get the work. Currently I'm working for Ironworks Consulting as one of their web developers. I do freelance web projects on the side once 'n a while too.

yay.

Full time College... Saddly it a Tech College so no life away from home yet.

Jobless, I spend my time creating homemade explosives from Old Firecrackers, designing a fire pit in the back yard, and gathering materials to make a Ghillie Suit. Which, upon creation, I will venture to the Sprinker Rec center's forest, and wage an all out war on the "Fantasy Middle-Ages Knights" group.

So your going to go to a park and hit your friends with sticks?

DamnthatDavid
Feb 20th, 2004, 04:49 PM
No, with the Ghillie Suit, I will go and become sniper commander. Then, from a distance with either an old Red Ryder BB gun, or Paintball Gun I will shoot them, and possibly laugh.
Anyway, unless Supafly dresses up in tights and runs around screaming with a foam sword, then none of my friends do it.

Edit: You proberly would of understood my intentions if you had a clue what a Ghillie Suit is.

I work at a movie theater and it rules dude. I am an usher and a concessionist. Now it's slow but since I am somewhat oldschool I get decent enough hours and working when it's slow is awesome because it's not very hard work at all. Also I have good friends at work and some days I can't wait to go to work >:

Since I always end up putting a lot of the books on the bottom shelf (since people are too goddamn lazy to do it themselves) I do a lot of repetative squating. It hurts sometimes, but damn my ass is getting in shape. Oh yeah, but school is my full time job. Haha just kidding, I'm gone before I realize that I'm there.

I know that almost nobody steals money from envelopes. I know that cashing checks that aren't yours can get you in trouble. What I meant was, is it easy for postal workers to steal small items that have a decent value, like MP3 players, for example?

I'm just curious as to what the hell goes on at the post office.

I don't work for the US Postal Service I work for the State :(

For the Department of Social and Health Services, specifically.

In the past year I have done the following to earn money:

Taught violin lessons, taught texas fiddle lessons, taught banjo lessons, played on the street, directed traffic, given sperm, ushered, played gigs, sold hockey tickets, sold one of my N64 cartridges, taught Russian, gave campus tours, pitched hay, unloaded postal packages and improvised crappy atonal music for wealthy bitches who think I'm awesome and can't tell that I was bullshitting.

I work at Northwest Hospital in the Security Department. It's fun and wacky especially when old psychiatric patients throw poo at the wall when it's time for thier chemical restraints. :eek One time this 85 year old lady called me a tall hootinanny cocksucker and said she was going to kick me in the balls :lol

Other than that it's driving the Trailblazer which we named the TAILCHASER ;) unlocking doors, playing on the computer and talking to drunks and crackheads in the E.R.

Well, I used to have a job at a McDonalds but I quit because I had a better oppurtunity for a better job. I think it was a waiter at one of those real fancy resturants. I got fired when I accidentally spilled a drink on myself. Now I'm just a student. :( Don't have much money, but I've got enough to live by. Sitill with my mom and two cats and sister.

Do you work at Pastaworks? I ate at the table in the middle of the store once. It was slightly uncomfortable.
