I'm now in Vermont & the temperature when I left this morning was 4'F. Spring? Summer? Those seasons only exist south of here, here the two seasons are Winter (lots of snow) & Mud Season (lots of rain). I think I picked bad places to live - Vermont's bitter cold for the winter & Virginia's humidity and boiling heat for the summer. (I live near DC which used to be swampland.)

i just found out they're letting school out hours early in anticipation of snow--three to eight inches, "they" say. last week, the local paper had a front-page story about that evening's sure-fire snow; it didn't snow a flake. i just checked the window again--no snow yet. my son is loving it, i'm sure.
