They're called averages, bucko, and yes, America is a very hardcore Christian country. I don't know where you live, but there are entire states down south where everyone except your kooky neighbor goes to church every week, and even the most secular areas have very high percentages of believers, even if they're not very observant.

I live in Massachusetts. To be fair, I've never been very far south. I do know, however, that the south isn't by any means the entire country; nor is it nearly the most populated area.

Exactly. The poll wasn't about good religious churchgoing folk, it was counting believers in general, which is a more significant statistic for the contrast they were trying to make. Talk to a bunch of random strangers in the U.S. and they may not all go to church but most of them will believe in God. Talk to a bunch of strangers in Britain and most won't even be believers.

Hello, today I'm calling myself Dole, as that is my only source of income in the UK. :/

Cities suck in the UK, plus they use a differant scale for naming their population centres, so the town of Brighton, is what you want.

However, all the posers live there, so I'd personally suggest that you live in Crawley, which is far better situated for commuting up to London and down to Brighton as needed. :)
