I have no idea why they came to Winnipeg first, but it's going to be so awesome. I've been listening to Bossanova on repeat in anticipation. Havalina has to be one of the greatest songs ever written.

I wish they were playing a bigger venue. They sold out in a couple hours in Calgary :(

oh well. as long as the venues have good acoustics, thats all I care about. but then again, I got tickets. so I suppose they could put it in a bigger venue if it sounds as good. theres no where else in winnipeg to have it that won't be ass.

The venue does have really good acoustics, and a good atmosphere :( I'm going there tommorow for Broken Social Scene.
EDIT: I heard they aren't allowed to play large venues for 60 days before the festival or something like that.

Possibly. I'm happy, like I said, I want a good venue. I would have seen Bowie if he wasn't playing the Winnipeg Arena, which sounds like an ass-hat.
