A bunch of us were out the other night sitting in a balocny type area and on the ground floor there was this guy sitting who had this like....... crusty/boily/warty fungus looking stuff on the back of his neck. A friend we were with told me that she though it could be from crack because she previously worked with a lot of crack addicts and said that a lot of them had that shit on their skin. She heard from someone else that they were sort of like... calcium deposits, but crack deposits in the skin because the body couldn't process all the crack.
Anyway I looked online to see if this was true or not and haven't found anything. I have to know
Also she said a lot of the crack addicts were missing their two front teeth. Why is that?
Does anyone know anything about this shit?

I have freinds who do lots of coke, but none of them have "skin deposits". Maybee this man had skin cancer or was just really sick. Maybee he one of the people that the beatles sang about in that popular song, elenor rigby or something. Anyway, does this man talk? Is he real or just one of those carboard cut-out people that populate the earth in the millions. There are lots of fake people out there, sure they look real enough, but try talking to one and you soon realize they have no soul.

Well, according to what I found:
Injecting cocaine over a long time can result in:
*
blocked blood vessels (caused by the things sometimes mixed with cocaine) leading to serious damage to the body's organs such as the liver, heart etc.
*
inflamed blood vessels and abscesses
*
a person picking at their own skin, sometimes resulting in serious damage that needs skin grafts (operations) to heal.
Application of cocaine to skin or mucous membrane can cause necrotic lesions.
Cocaine can also make you violent or even make you do bizarre repetitive motions. Some users sit and repetitively draw doodles or, in severe cases, pick at their skin over and over to try to get the bugs out they think are underneath.
Drugs are bad, mmmkay. :(

I was hoping Doopa was having a Pulp Fiction-like emergency with Rog going into a coma in the living room or somesort. And asking the board first if something like this had happened would be really cool in a way I don't understand.

Shudder...if I ever mention I'm planning to try coke again, just say the words "necrotic lesions," alright?

ok... so I guess the deposit thing isn't true then. How dissapointing.
I dunno what that guy had then - it definitly didn't look like scabs from scratching though
Anyway, so, what is the deal with the 2 front teeth? They get burned/ they rot out? Why just the two front teeth?

It's really any number of teeth that the smoke comes in direct contact with as it gets pulled through the pipe.
It's like tobacco/marijuana stains, only obscenely corrosive.

I've never heard of lesions or warty things resulting directly from drug use. I'm think he suffers from some illness.
Jeanette's quotes are rather extreme and would only apply to extremely chronic use. There's some awfully scary sounding repurcussions from alcoholism too, but for 99.9% of people who try alcohol, it doesn't apply.

Yeah, but the scary stuff associated with alcohol doesn't include necrotic lesions. :eek

I am so painfully dissapointed about this whole deposits thing I can't even fully express. I was so excited about it. And I was thinking how fucking awesome it would be if you could like cut/shave the wart-crustys off and re-smoke them since they would be crack deposits.
I thought it would be pure bodily genius to have these extra deposits in case of an apocalyptic war that destroys all crack and then your body knowing it might not have anything to give itself would like... store it in your skin.
Like with calcium deposits it would be cool to cut them off and cover them in melted chocolate like a malt ball or something.

If it makes you feel any better Doopa.....
MDMA doesn't process completely in your body and you actually end up urinating most of it out during the high. It is possible to drink the urine (I've been told mixing it with Tang helps the taste) and get high again. The catch......your own urine is toxic so you'd have to swap pee with someone else.
Why do I know these things..........
Anonymous

what?! Why is your own urine toxic but not someone elses??
edit**
it is awesome to know these things and i am jealous of your knowledge

Why just the two front teeth?
Most crackheads suck dick for more crack, hence the dealer would prefer the front 2 teeth taking out to prevent any harm to the dealer.

I've never itched at my skin while on coke, or repeatedly did anything... that sounds more like what i do on meth.. i pick at things.. i used to have this blanket that had little lint things and threads poking out and I would pull them out CONSTANTLY. Also I would smoke for like 3 hours straight, because the novelty of smoking was just so grand, better than watching tv... then I would try to smoke when there was nothing in there just to make sure nothing was in there.

I took the time to learn as much as could about MDMA and E (not necessarily the same thing) before I ever took it. Someone told that they though that was dumb cause it would take all the fun out of it......
Personally, I like to be as safe as possible in anything I do.
Your urine is toxic to you as your body has already absorbed anything out of it that it can. What is left is complete waste from your body. Once in your bladder your body wants nothing to do with it. Someone else's body could still absorb from it though.
Unlike your bowls of course.....which can and will absorb nutrients right up until "the end"
Which of course is why some people crush their drugs add them to a fleet enema and take tham that way. It's called plunging.
EDIT - Where oh where did my spelling/typing skills go?

How in the hell would knowing what you're doing to yourself take the fun out of doing it? I researched psilocybin extensively before I took mushrooms, and I still tripped just as hard (actually, probably harder, as I knew to drink some OJ) as I would have.
On the topic of urine, you can actually drink your own urine twice before the ammonia content becomes too high.
Survival 101 over here, right?
It's called plunging.
It's called fucking nasty.

Good Lord soundtest, you aren't really comparing crack to alchohol, are you? Alchohol is like Kool-aid compared to crack.

i smoked crack once and i hated it. it made me feel like my heart was going to explode and it only lasted for 10 minutes and i felt robbed.
coke was fun. the only repetitive behavior i displayed when i was high on coke was talking. a lot. about everything. to anyone who would listen.
i don't do either anymore and would never do it again and highly reccommend that nobody ever try either one because it's just not worth it.

Mushrooms that put you to sleep? I doubt they were Psycoblin, probably Amanita Muscaria! They have a habit of putting you to sleep at some point if you don't take them right.
Speaking of drugs, I really want to make some AYAHUSCA.. mmm

With all the various impurities and things used to cut crack, I don't see how any test can have conclusive general results. I mean, what would you use as a control?

Mar 13th, 2004, 06:41 PM
I smoke pot on a semi-regular basis, and it's fine by me.
It doesn't involve drinking someone else's piss, smoking lesions on your body or reabsorbing narcotics through enemas.
Maybe one day I will have as much fun as everyone else seems to be having.

No, I'm comparing cocaine to alcohol. Your references were not regarding crack. There is a huge difference.

Alchohol is like Kool-aid compared to crack.
According to Wayne Static, most of the people who've lived to be over 100 years old have drunk alcohol and smoked tobacco all of their lives.
And alcohol is like water compared to crack if you're Irish. In fact, if you're irish, alcohol IS your water.

Pardon me, but, can we get back to talking about drinking your own urine for a moment please?
Ok, so yesterday we watched that Jackass movie and in it one guy make a snowcone and flavored it with his piss and then ate it.
He was puking but my question is.......
was he puking at the idea of it, or was he puking because it was toxic?
Rongi
Mar 14th, 2004, 10:47 PM
Urine is 95% water, so chances are it was the idea of it.
Big Papa Goat
Mar 14th, 2004, 10:52 PM
And its 5% urea which is being urinated because its so toxic.

There's ammonia in pee pee too.

I think ammonia is a part of urea, their both nitrogen based organic compounds.

Actually Doopa I HAVE heard of the skin deposits thing but i think it happens with meth. From what i heard from the DARE man at school is the body cant process some of the chemicals so they just hang around in your body and if continuously exposed to the drug it will build up in your body and eventually the body tries to make it leave by alternative means so it will sometimes(in rare occsions) it will become a part of your skin and you can then Ingest it again :(

Thanks ArrowX you have led me in the right direction.
apparently this is sort of true.
Meth users get things called "speed bumps" (I read on one site that the meth comes out through the pores and ends up clogging the pores and causing something like a blister). But I am having trouble finding out if they actually contain meth in them.
In my search I found this site:
http://www.kci.org/meth_info/slang_names.htm
which is awesome. My favorites were "Albino Poo", "Horse Mumpy", "Shiznitty", and "White Bitch".
