FS MANNOROTH.

I'd marry him if he wasn't dead now.

I haven't beaten the game yet, cause I'm in a classic gaming mood again lately. Right now I'm re-playing Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal.

Zomboid Coolest video was when thrall and grom went to fight that guy who's name I forget. The opening one was really good too.

AChimp I didn't loose a single Human or Orc game, and I had to try the Undead campaign twice (I died in the last 30 seconds the first time on the last map). Night Elf was easy and incredibly stupid.

whoreable Hopefully the expansion single player will be a bit more challenging than warcraft 3 single player was...I think I only lost one campain once and that was the last level and I think I didnt lose any heros before that either..granted that was on normal, but I dont think it was even as challengeing as brood war.

I have gotten to the point were I get very tired of single player games and rarely finish them through...its all about multiplayer to me nowadays so hopefully we can get some good group games going here.

Mockery Yeah, but I have no problem supporting a good company that spends tons of money to produce awesome games like this. I'll buy it when it comes out.

Mockery I actually enjoyed the Night Elf campaign a lot. I thought the missions were pretty fun and challenging towards the end as usual. As for which campaign was my favorite... it's hard to say. I can definitely say that the human cinematic sequence was probably one of the best animations I've ever seen in my entire life.

With the Frozen Throne, all I care about is the fact that there's gonna be SEA BATTLES. The cinematic sequences and continuation of the story is just a bonus. And I'm sure the Orcs will have plenty to do in the game, they're not just gonna do away with them. People love the Orcs, and I'm sure they're gonna have cool missions and storyline.

Protoclown I'd have to disagree about the ending...it wasn't just short and uninteresting, it was INSANELY DISAPPOINTING. I was disappointed in the entire Night Elf campaign, truth be told. I found it very uninteresting, especially right after the badass Orc campaign. The Night Elves just don't seem to fit into the story very well the way they've handled it so far.

Despite that, I look forward to Frozen Throne, and I hope it does for WC3 what Brood War did for StarCraft. Because as awesome as Starcraft was, Brood War was IMMENSELY better. Frozen Throne could salvage the story.

The only thing I don't like is that I'm hearing that the expansion is going to have the Humans, Undead, and Night Elves all involved in the "core story" but the Orcs are going to have a completely different campaign that doesn't tie into that at all. Which sucks, because the Orcs are my favorite, and I was really hoping they'd bring them back into focus a bit. Could still turn out cool though, we'll have to wait and see.

whoreable Damn I must rock cause I beat it my 2nd try and won at the orc base. I think I built some moon wells there and brought all the ancent protectors there. then I just hired mercs.

Finally beat Warcraft III last night

That last night elves level was a bitch to survive. Took like 3 tries before I figured out a good strategy. After the human encampment was destroyed and we were pushed back to the elf level, I kept buying land mines from the goblin merchant and laying them all over the place. Combine that with the rooted tree defenders (i forget their names) a ton of archers and my two heros, I was able to hold them off with the orc base all the way down to 4 minutes. And then by the time they were ready to attack my main night elves base, it was too late for 'em. w00t!

I have to agree though, compared to the other badass cinematic sequences in the game, the ending was WAAAY too short and uninteresting. Pretty surprising from a company like Blizzard. Some of the things in the credits were amusing... but I still would've liked a better ending.

Anyway, I'm glad I finally took the time to beat the game, cuz now I can move onward to the Frozen Throne come July 1st.
