ROOKIE When Yuengling gets a bit flat and boring I switch to Heineken. When I can no longer taste the hops in Heineken and start thinking about flavor, I switch to Yuengling. I rarely drink liquor unless I'm abroad.

Canadian as fu*k.

My friend returned from Alberta and he brought me a bottle of Everclear (mostly because I asked him to do so). Bandit approved.

10,000 Volt Ghost I think steve is saving its bad maple. Bring canadian makes him the expert.

I would drink it on the rocks though.

Volta1988 I got a bottle of Forty Creek Whiskey for Christmas. It has to be the smoothest whiskey I've ever tasted. Nothing compares.

Colonel Flagg I like it that sound.

That's the best line ever for assessing intoxication.

I had some whiskey, but I can still my face.

Fathom Zero Two shiner bocks, two shots of bourbon, two shots of everclear, and one shot of vodka and I can't even my face right now.

MarioRPG Tequila es meuy beuno.

I got a bottle of Jose Silver for my birthday, which is a great one for mixing. When my parents went to Mexico they came back with one bottle that was ring shaped and had a crystal agave plant in the center. That was pretty cool on its own, and the tequila was smooth to boot. Aside from that, if I'm visiting the States I'll usually pick up a bottle of 1800.

I vacationed in Cancun a few years back and had a similar revelation. Even the better tequilas one can find here in the states pale in comparison with some of what I tasted that week. As with most drinks, top-shelf brands and brands from the native region are the best ways to go.

For anyone who just doesn't like the thought of drinking tequila straight, no matter how good, allow me to recommend La Pinta Pomegranate Tequila and 1921 Cream Tequila. Both are delicious to the point that the uninitiated could be fooled into thinking they aren't tequila. Plus, neither sacrifices that "clothes exploding" after-effect that Ghost mentioned.

MarioRPG I actually work at a Viet-Thai restaraunt so I've been getting around to buying the beers we serve there. I've only tried about 3, but Tsingtao (Chinese) isn't bad or expensive.

Fathom Zero That sounds fantastic. Soju has become my favorite beverage, after water and orange juice.

darkvare my brother works at a korean restaurant and my family befriended the owners family so every time we tell them about any sort of event the owner cooks all thesse special plates and gets drunk with us on soju and this weird drink they make with beer and soju

Kitsa I tried Sam Adams Octoberfest the other day and didn't really see much of a difference from Sam Adams normal, except maybe it was a little tangier. It was okay though. I like Sam Adams.

I discovered a recipe for rum cake that's fucking amazing and now I will be making it all the time. I took the extra precautions of soaking the raisins in Bacardi Gold overnight and just going ahead and making the frosting with Bacardi Gold instead of milk. Solid buzz.
